Jacques Lacan and Fearmongering in Latvia

Having stated in the previous blog that continuation of the Industrial Age is a non-starter not only for the undeveloped world, but also for all who developed in tandem with its rise to power (to the point where even after its zenith is obviously in the past tense), its advertising industry continues to fool most of the people of the world by projecting visions of travel in space.

With only 1 billion people in 1804 and today over 7 billion, of which more than a half live in poverty and most in absolute ignorance, how else could it be? Though Virgin Airlines’s Galactic spaceship crash signaled the proverbial synchronicity event, Sir Richard Branston, one of the moneyed elites among the 7 billion, promises to continue to be a savant of questionable intelligence and announces that he will construct another model. What a devotee of the gang of Positivist religious!

This brings me to the periphery of hegemony of the Industrial Age, the small country of Latvia, one of Western Europe’s easternmost borderlands, and arguably a country of political leaders=savants of questionable integrity. Before the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Latvia was believed by many Soviet people to be among its most progressive Soviets.

Latvia was renewed as an ‘independent’ country (whatever that means) in 1990  and is now in its 24th  year as an allegedly independent, but not sovereign nation of ‘residents’ as the link notes. The main cause of its renewed state is the United States of America in military alliance with Western European countries through the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). While at the time of renewal, Latvia became a state within the community of Western nations, it was understood (at least by some of the Russian leaders) that NATO would not press its borders closer the Russia, but leave Latvia remain a state that separates Russia from the EU, in effect a sort of Switzerland.

This was not to be however, and NATO has used the ‘resident’ status of Latvia’s residents and pressed ever closer to the borders of Russia in a maneuver known as expanding ‘encirclement’. Having created an international crisis between western nations and Russia by way of the Ukraine and a series of encircling movements, the U.S. , NATO tanks and boots are today in Latvia. While many of the Latvian people do not support the maneuver by their government, the Latvian government throughout said 23 years has waged what Paul Virilio calls ‘endo-colonization’ of Latvias civil society, using fear mongering (see min.: 22-25, 47-48, 53-55) to justify a later occupation of Latvia by armed NATO troops and raise the money (2% of GNP in a destitute country) to pay for the occupation and hardware. Fittingly, the name of the Latvian Defense Minister is Vējonis, re: Windy John.

One example of media manipulation in Latvia’s region of Latgale from a recent newspaper article [Diena (Day) 11.11.2014], is a busy body local official who claims without presenting evidence that Russian agitators near Latvia’s Russian border are distributing literature and rumours. Whereas another official states (my translation):

“….In turn in Zilupe the vice-chairman of local government Vitalys Valdens (Party of Cooperation) komments on the security issue in expressive terms: ‘Why such disinformation about our precinct? All youths here speak perfect Latvian, and among us are great Latvian patriots. Most people here are preoccupied with making ends meet; no one has time to sign foolish (petitions)’….

”….The Security Police makes no comments about its operations in Latgale, but invite the inhabitants to speak up about activities, which are meant to compromise Latvia’s territorial integrity or constitutional government.”

In effect, the Latvians, once said to be the rulers of their country have not become identified with the ‘object petit a’ of Lacan , i.e., the Latvian government  is in effect using Lacanian methods against the Latvian people to become their “unattainable object” by means of confusing the state with its fearmongering leadership, which keeps fleeing from Latvia as a sovereign state to the empty airs of the EU located in Brussels. Re: “In the psychoanalytic theory of Jacques Lacan, objet petit a ("object little-a") stands for the unattainable object of desire. It is sometimes called the object cause of desire. Lacan always insisted that the term should remain untranslated, "thus acquiring the status of an algebraic sign" (Écrits)..

Nakedness = Flesh Torn of Its Fur
© Translation Eso A.B.

“Catching fur” has not gone out of style yet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ck_WsJvAwDo . Man has made Nature dangerous and appears to like it that way. Unless challenged to think, man prefers not to think. Perhaps only when modern society destroys itself totally, will wildlife have a place on our planet.

But what if we were to think of human beings, essentially hairless creatures, as de-furred animals? Strange as it may sound, I have not thought of myself or ever used the word ‘de-furred’ when thinking of my appearance in the shower or bathtub. However, the other night, I had a strange dream: I saw a bunch of people, all politicians, at a beach resort, all naked, among whom were some who I knew, and one of who was me.

No, I am not a politician, except that I have a keen interest of why human society is, for lack of better words, screwed up; and as those who read my blogs know, I trace back to a misleading history of over a thousand years old, the evidence for which we have before our eyes almost every day. The not so unexpected culprit is the government of almost any country, the leaders being the hegemonic powers or those with potential to become such.

In any case, back to the de-furred animals of my dream. An actual de-furred animal if pictured would be a bloody carcass, something of an awful and objectionable sight. At least my dream found the de-furred politicians an intolerable sight. The way the dream got around the problem was to switch the dreamer (me) from looking at a carcass to having the carcass of the de-furred human beings being eaten raw and bloody. Well, this was not any less objectionable, so I dreamt that the de-furred humans were kissing animals as when dogs lick the faces of their masters, but their saliva is menstrual blood.

The dream ended there and woke me up with the above several images telescoped into one unpleasant image-sensation. Nevertheless, it led me to immediately connect the above with the idea of human sexuality, specifically ‘French kissing’, an act in which two lovers entwine their tongues, sometimes leaving same to reach into the mouth of the other as deeply as the tongue can reach. Inevitably, in real life such kissing soon leads to the act of joining sexual organs, which, as the Shaker song tells, we come down where we ought to be: “…in the valley of love and delight.” And more: “When true simplicity is gained,/ To bow and to bend we shan’t be ashamed….”

I am not saying that de-furring is at the basis of sexuality, but that the evolutionary process that led humans to losing their fur and become exposed to the elements, led in time to repression of sexuality (sin, the covering or masking of the sexual organs) and to violence. Whether this was because we originate in water (as some claim http://www.theguardian.com/science/2013/apr/27/aquatic-ape-theory-primate-evolution ) or is the result of a synchronistic gene mimicking the Jungian scarab, I do not know.

This raises the possibility that the color of human skin is not as the Wikepedia statement, which re: “Melanin is produced within the skin in cells called melanocytes and it is the main determinant of the skin color of darker-skinned humans….”, but  is caused by a profound psychic disturbance that over time changes from blood color to dark black as a matter of evolution: dark skin camouflages the loss of body hair.

This sums up my view that our contemporary age is about a thousand years of duration, which began with deforestation (a kind of de-furring of the globe), which ‘naturally’ led to de-furment and de-animalizationment of ‘life’ on this planet. I believe our time to be a non-starter. The evolutionary process (with marked acceleration following the Industrial age), is a violent dream that tries cover up its violence by masking it as catholic and globalized  Christian love, which has currently succumbed to what we call Positivism https://www.google.lv/?gws_rd=ssl#q=meaning+of+positivism . As item 1. states, positivism is: “a philosophical system recognizing only that which can be scientifically verified or which is capable of logical or mathematical proof, and therefore rejecting metaphysics and theism.

Like it or not, this makes me a theist (or to use a much older term, a Bogomil) if only because I strongly distrust science teachers and the governments that enforce their views. I see the current age as but a replacement of one sort of clergy for another. By the way, Bogomil does not mean as one of the links translates the word, ‘dear to God’, but ‘lover of God’==possibly out of a necessity to die to short-circuit the trend.

As our age comes to a close, I believe that we will make (possibly by means of great violence) a transit back to the Age of the Wood or Water, where de-furred animals originated, and where he-she can practice the only kind of government meant for humankind: self-government. As mentioned before, the wood is where the office of King returns to a state where God is Mind and human beings do not fear death, because the Mind is to be found in the ant and the ameba as well as ‘re-furred’ human beings. No doubt, ‘re-furring’ ourselves means that we again become cognizant of the meaning of sacrifice, which replaces our age of slaughter.

Placebo Loses Her Charm
© Translation Eso A.B.

In the opinion of this blogger, the ‘placebo effect’ (a lie objectified) as it is used today has become subject to deterministic philosophy of our dead-end culture. Every time we read that the placebo effect works 20% of the time at the time the lie is implanted in the ‘patient’ (a polite medical term for one who is treated really a ‘zombie’), we participate in a consciously developed consciousness that is conscious of its deeds 20% of the time. This, in effect, describes our ‘human’ civilization in the 21st century rather well.

Who can imagine that the President of the United States, one Obama, does not believe himself to be ‘right’ 80% of the time he makes a command decision (such as taking the law into his own hands)? For the sake of being a ‘nice’ fellow, he and his court give us, the ludis or zombies (the term ‘people’, ‘narod’, ‘gente’ and other like names descriptive of humankind as a whole have become meaningless). Add to this degraded kind of consciousness the consciousness of the leaderships of our political world—what else are the ludis if not stark naked humankind?

The blogs immediately preceding this attempt to show how the capture and monopolization of violence by a select body of men, or, if you will, the masculinization (gendarminization) of the feminine psyche inherent in Nature by a minority element of, say, 20%, which element secured its position through the institution of taxation (beginning with the ‘fur tax’),

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/74/Bendprotest.jpg and as the link above illustrates killing our nakedness.

But what if the 20% of so-called libido actually constitutes 80% of consciousness?

Psychologists, at least since the Frech psychiatrist Jacques Lacan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Objet_petit_a , introdued ‘objet petit a’ (1957), have their own ‘quantum’ model. Without ‘objet petit a’, psychology remains a two dimensional model of the human mind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkAXsR5WINc . Lacan envisages how a particle (my name) makes a quantum jump via pareidolia to the subjective nature of language as a whole (a wave), whereby my ego particle becomes simultaneous with the Ghost of a wave.

Before I go on, this is the place to remind ourselves that the word ‘placebo’ is said to originate from the Latin for I shall please.[3] It is found in Latin text in the Bible (Psalm 116:9, Vulgate version by Jerome, “Placebo Domino in regione vivorum”, “I shall please the Lord in the land of the living”) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Placebo_in_history . Jerome translated as "I shall please" (placebo), the Hebrew word "ethalech", "I shall walk with" as in "I shall be in step with". Of course, we may also visualize the word in the English verb ‘to place’, re: I shall place before you on Thanksgiving Day all you desire to eat, all that that pleases you: a turkey, filling, squash, cranberry sauce, apple cider, and if you desire—after the meal, we will go and embrace in bed.

In Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (14th century), Placebo is the name of the sycophantic brother January in The Merchant's tale (see right hand column) http://www.librarius.com/canttran/merchtal/merchtale307-353.htm . In other words, the month of June or John has been replaced by the month of January (sycophant) for reasons of Catholic Christian piety. Sequantially seaking, June the younger  brother, warns his older brother January, to beware of younger women or a young wife, who takes greater plesure in June than in January and has demands January may not meet.

Saul, the apostle (Acts 9, 22, 26), a self-confessed Hebrew http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkAXsR5WINc , was a Roman citizen (likely from Byzantium, who just as likely gained his name Paul when in service of the Emperor’s army), who while persecuting the Christians of the Sun (proto-Catholic Christianity), suffers, while on his way to Damascus, what we know as a ‘sunstroke’ and goes blind. While Biblical and non-biblical scholars twist themselves into knots trying to figure out the event, the ‘conversion’ by sunstroke likely reflects a near death experience. The name Saul< Paul, was most likely changed to Peter after Paul was executed by the Byzantine Roman Emperor for treason. Since apostle Peter, too, was executed by the Romans, but for a different reason (rejecting Roman law, rather than acting against it), it was quite natural to later change Paul’s name to Peter. These events likely occurred during the time that the fur tax was instituted (9-14th cent.), as—we note==Peter stayed with Simon a tanner; something that apostle Paul was more likely to do. This if we presume that apostle Peter was connected to proto-Catholic Christianity rather than to the time when this form of Christianity was repressed.

A Placebo’s Progress to Democracy
© Translation Eso A.B.

When the name of the Sun was changed from ‘Sonne’ (German, feminine gender) to ‘Saul’ (masculine gender) and thereby from an object adored from distance to one adored as a physically installed King (also  referred to as the ‘sun king’ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_XIV_of_France ), there began a long (‘historical’) era of barbarization of government.

It is a synchronistic element worth noting that the name ‘Louis’ in the ‘sun king’s’ name is a reference to the name ‘Ludi’, which name at the beginning of the era of government by barbarization was a name that stood for the name of the People, re: Ludi. It is doubly interesting that the era of the physical ‘sun king’ was brought to an end by the Ludi getting together and doing a Revolution==as in the French Revolution, which ended with Louis loosing his hed to a guillotine and the institutionalization of ‘Femocracy’, which, as we now see, was then and is now an impossible form of government.

It may be worth while to remind the reader of the beginning of the era of the ‘King’ as government.

I have argued that when our planet was still largely covered by wood and such plains as naturally rose from lands unfit to support a wood, most people lived either in the wood or at the edge of the wood. Since the only way to cover distance in those days was by foot, many human dwellings arose along the edges of rivers, lakes, or seas, where water facilitated a faster, if riskier, form of transportation and movement. This enhanced form of transportation, however, did not mean that all ludis’s used it, but was largely confined to males, who due to their physical characteristics were best fit for such an exercise.

The majority of ludis’s continued to live in the wood or at its edge (be it field or river). This confinement to relative immobility facilitated, in its turn, the human imagination to turn inward. For example, when the ‘rovers’ returned from a trip from a village up river with tales that somewhere at either the beginning or the end of the river, there was a site (city) nigh indescribable in magnificence, the people in situ (in place)  began to have visions of no lesser magnificence than the English poet Cooleridge had after he had smoked some opium and wrote his famous poem “Kubla Khan” (the Great John). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubla_Khan : “In Xanadu did Kubla Khan himself a stately pleasure dome decree….”

In that long ago era of Kubla Khan, the King had only an imaginary existence. His physical existence took a long time in developing, with its intermediary phase beginning with the issuance by King John at Runnymede of the Magna Carta and end phase arriving with Louis XIV of France. Nevertheless, the Chan’s imaginary existence is, in fact, the first form of human government and the ground on which the idea of God is imagined and founded.

In those days as the Sun (feminine gender), re: Heo, or possibly Eo (?El) or Io. Indeed, this reminds me of my college class in Old English, from which I now remember only one phrase: “Fæder ure þu þe eart on heofonum…” (Our Father who art in Heaven). Let us note that the word for Heaven (heo-fon-um) begins with Heo, (Sun) and ends with fon (Moon) = Heofon, and the suffix ‘um’. In effect, heaven is as yet the realm of the Sun and the Moon, while God is not yet a physical being except as my, your, our ‘father’ yet to be born.

As I have already noted (blog 448), the ‘force’ that forced the Sun=Saule to abdicate to be replaced by Saul, is the institution of the fur tax, which defined ‘force’ as the physical removal (by wripping) of an animal’s skin off its back and the removal from the Sun of its ‘shine’ to be used as a halo over the heads of a conglomeration of heads of government, who t ‘legitimized’ themselves by creating in the midst of the wood, the desert, aka the city, and in the desert of the city thinking=up (?imagining) Democracy, which replaces the feudal lords with individual rights.

Before I end this blog, it is worth remembering that Louis XIV centralized government (eliminated the feudal subset http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feudalism of rulers) and created himself as a more or less physical God. This fact, shortly brought about the Revolution, which broke down the ‘feudal’ system of nobles http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/feudalism into ‘individualist’ segments. Today we are witness to a like act of self-glorification by means of centralization and globalization by a U.S. a President sans charisma—Obama.

An excellent summary of the actions of Obama can be seen and heard reported by David Knight, re: ‘Obama's Amnesty by Royal Decree’. I watched the program on 25 November, 2014.

Saule’s Placebo--Saul
© Translation Eso A.B.

Just how the Sun (Sonne, Saule, Solntse) came to change her feminine aspect to that of a male is largely ignored by linguists. One may suppose that their excuse is that linguists are not historians. Which is to ignore that historians of our day are as ideology bound as Catholic historians who wrote Christian history and subsequent events. This is essentially what the Russian mathematician and historian Anatoly Fomenko is trying to tell us, even as American historians perceive Western history the way the American government dictates it happeaned or what it means. While there are some American historians who question the American government’s perspective of the 0/11 event, most academic historians toe the government line eventsof9/11 . Now imagine, if a thousand years from now that same ilk of historians parot the historians of today as those of today parot the Catholic historians of the 16th century?

But there it is: suddenly Saule becomes the name of a male king (of a Jewish Commnowealth, no less) and his name is pronounced ‘SaulS’
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saul . To bring the story told at the link back in line with the fact that it most likely refects the time when the predominance of the feminine was changed to the predominance of the male. To do this is as difficult as it is to read ‘Sauls’ backward, re: SluaS.

This is why pareidolia becomes a necessary tool. Its echo=like effects help unravel the notes after they get shaken in a tin can with a handful of pebbles, and we are told what we heard is Beethoventh 9th Symphony.

Every skeptic of the story in the Bible is likely to have his-her own methods of reconstructing the events back to when the disturbed whole was still Sun. I will start my version by reading Sauls without the suffix ‘s’, re: Saul; which in my ear rings very close to the word we know as ‘soul’.

Back in the days before materialist ideology had seized power and declared itself to be the Truth, the soul‘ was the ineffable substance or  breath of life, a kind of ghost, within us at the time of our baptism or some other kind of initiation. The New Testament, the Catholic story of the origins of Christianity, portrays the soul as a dove  that lingers above the head of Jesus while he is baptized in the River Jordan by John, the embodiment of pre-Catholic Christianity, when its believers still largely resided in the wood or field. If we look closely, we will note that while both men have haloes above their heads, the halo above John is slightly larger. We may interpret that Verrocchio who painted the picture, still had a vague memory by way of history longue duree of the Suns former eminence. The halo is of course a replica of the Sun. In effect, the halo is to the Sun, what the name John is to the name Jesus—both are power-over replacements made after the introduction of governments which came to power through the imposition of taxation. Unfortunately, the American Revolution against the rule of the English, primarily because an unfair imposition of a much resented tax, is the last time the people/ludy rebelled against it.

However, this is not to say that the Boston Tea Party are the last of revolts against taxation. Very likely a significantly larger revolt looms before us (again in America, though it could be in my own Latvia), because today the imposition of the tax is the exercise of private corporate or parliamentary power over the people, and the government has created levels of debt that only death of the present form of government (capitalist controlled democracy) can bring about.

Interestingly, most academic and government savants would argue that it means the ‘End of the World’ as we know it. And, indeed, that is likely, just as the original ‘fur tax’ led to the displacement o the Franks from Byzantium to the Benelux. The event also resulted in the rewriting and redoing (unfortunately) of early Christian practices with the violence of Western Catholic/ globalist cultures (the seizure by the tsars of Siberia and Alaska is a direct result of the bloody fur tax). Unfortunately, the Siberian natives did not have a rich Uncle Sam to buy them their freedom--though in light of today’s events one may argue that the American people, too, were ultimately enslaved by the burden of taxation.

It remains to be seen how the issue of taxation resolves itself, but the recent formation of the Tea Party movement Tea Party movement gives us a hint, and the issue of taxation gives it a hint of the path to pursue in the future.

Our Forced Future in the Present
Translation © Eso A.B.

The breaking of the 11th Commandment created a future on the other side of the design of the Nature of Man.

Since contra-nature designs are man=made, it naturally wipes out the feminine. It is not in the nature of the feminine to impose the ‘fur tax’, which is collected by tearing the skin off the body the feminine gives birth to. It is in the nature of the feminine to give birth to all things beginning with plants and ending with man. While the feminine does not shirk difficulties, it was the masculine that brought cruelty and teaches us to praise God for it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb3zClHDCOM . While the son, coerced by the father to join him in the hunt for elk in the rutting season, suffers from ‘buck fever’ and suffers an emotional breakdown after the kill, it is the father who implicitly promises to reward the son for the ‘kill’ with humilitated womanhood, re: a go at a prostitute at the men’s lodge in the wood after he is the first to bruise (fuck) her to impress the sun with his manhood. The clip is the modern version of ‘initiation’ of a boy in our time.

Unfortunately, such initiations are a way of replacing our time in the present with a time in the future.

To put it in another way: We force on ourselves, by means of modern manhood, a violence accepting future. This is proven by the boy raising his hands and crying out: “Thank you, Lord!”

It also illustrates the ways of the capitalist state, which, I have argued, begins with the building of the capitalist government when the ‘fur tax’ or yasek or iasek is instituted and Itsak becomes our king. While these developments are most recent;y (16th and 17th centuries) illustrated on the territory of Russia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberian_fur_trade , it most likely arrived there by way of the West, where the forests and wildlife were cleared and eliminated first. By the time it reached America, the devastation of nature was aided by the Gatling gun, which not only gunned down the buffalo, but went on to eliminate , in the name of ‘democracy’, the American Indian and established the most sophisticated dictatorship over humankind the world has ever known.

Be that as it may, Russia proceeded as a capitalist country before the U.S. through the ‘good’ offices of Peter the Great, the great Monster leaders of state http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/peter_the_great.htm. While most historians, brainwashed by a Western bias insist that the Tsar was an innovator and brought Russia into the modern age, when viewed in retrospect from our time, is little short of a monster.

As the picture of Peter in the above link shows, he is no more mature than a punk youth of our time, who has wrapped himself in a sable skin shawl and toga of ‘soft gold’, or, if you will, the evidence of slaughter of wild life.

Even so, the wholesale slaughter of life to benefit a few capitalists began with the slaughter of the feminine. The above link, which shows a young boy’s trauma so well, is what the Jesuit band in government accomplishes so well in our time. We can see this in their own Pope, who even before Mary==in spite of his protests==is a thoroughly castrated and outcast man. His letter sent to Brisbane before the G20 conference http://www.ucanews.com/news/pope-sends-letter-to-australia-pm-ahead-of-g20-summit/72384 received no response from the conferees. If you really wish to know, type: Brisbane’s response to letter of pope. Answer=0.

But then again, it was the Globalist Catholic Church and its Jewish collaborators who destroyed the Commandments of Moses, so that the 11th , which disallowed taxation (the fur tax then) could be eliminated.

To repeat: while the first victims of taxation were animals in the wood, and the executioners were the men of the wood (trappers nd their like), it was the soulless city which compelled them to the violence through the princes who were jealous of the charismatic power of the King.

While this story is for obvious reasons repressed today, we may see its beginnings in the story of Saul. This story, too, begins with the suppression of the feminine in its divine aspects. For those who have no inkling of the story, let me end the blog by saying that in the beginning the Sun was a feminine name. We are left traces of this in German, where the Sun is called Sonne, the Balt languages where its name is Saule, and Russian, whre its name is солнце, solntse,* all feminine names.

*Said by those who know Russian to be a gender neutral word. But that may not be an anthropologist's view, but simply that of a grammarian.

Another King Fails In Charisma
Translation © Eso A.B.

It is a curious happenstance that when Sigmund Freud lent to the story of Oedipus Rex his famous interpretation of incest [re: Interpretation of Dreams (1899)], he not only proposed a psychoanalytic theory, which we know as the Oedipus http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/425451/Oedipus-complex  or ‘castration complex’ http://psychology.about.com/od/oindex/g/def_oedipuscomp.htm, but brought to prominence a minor element that is only of a secondary importance to the play of Sophocles as a whole.

It is the prominence given to the secondary element and the failure of Western analyst to see beyond this secondary aspect, that not only increases the intellectual significance of the play, but betrays Western scholarly intelligence as entrapped by its solipsist character.

Freud fails to analyze the play properly, and only notices its superficial aspects: that in the course of the plays’s development, Oedipus slays his father and inadvertently marries his mother. Freud fails to notice that this happenstance occurs, because Iocaste tries to save her son from being tested by the Gods (through a mock sacrifice ritual), and that the reason for her anxiety and activities to circumvent her husband, King Laius (another name for King of the People or Ludi)  is that Oedipus, may be at risk of being slain by King Laius during the proceedings, and, thus, denied, what the mother believes to be her son’s rightful role as future King of Thebes.

As my ‘rewrite’ of Oedipus Rex argues http://oedipusrexrewritten.blogspot.com/2014/09/oedipus-synopsis-king-ludi-ii-play.html (see synopsis of Act I), the anxieties of Queen Iocaste arise from the fact that she is a former temple prostitute. This fact causes her to be pregnant with Oedipus at the time the King of Thebes Laius decides to marry her—possibly because of her expertise at playing and being a desirable and at the same time a ‘divine’ sexual object.

When the child is born, the King follows the old custom of letting the Gods decide whether the child is fit to become the next ruler of the Kingdom by ordering him exposed to the elements of Mt. Cytheron. Not unreasonably, Queen Iocaste is anxious that the King may have got wind that the child is not the King’s, but the result of her liaison with an ‘Unknown lover’, and may use the ritual as a pretext to kill the newborn.

For these reasons the Queen abducts her own child from the mountain and replaces him with a stillborn of another woman. She spirits away her own son to the neighboring Kingdom of Corinth, where her sister Meirope, also a former temple prostitute, has married the King.

As Oedipus grows into an adult, the mother finds herself in the unenviable role of wishing to do what she can to enable her son to become the king of Thebes.

In effect, Oedipus Rex is a play about politics and the entrapment of a group of people (of royal and ludi descent) by the customs of choosing a Kingdom an heir. Rather than a story of incest as Freud’s interpretation and the political prejudices of our epoch have caused the play to become, it is an illustration of how kings in the long ago were legitimized and the risks that such a legitimization entailed.

While the story has many possible nuances, the one that interests this blogger is the role of ‘king’ as leader of society in former times versus the role of leadership assigned to ‘democracy’ in our time.

Indeed, government by King and Democracy may be the north and south pole of a bipolar psychic political system and may be telling us something about the development and history of human society.

If we presume that such a bipolar political model does indeed reflect the reality of social organization of, say, the last ten or twenty thousand years, we may perceive in pareidolia the ‘drift effect’ that takes the place of Earth’s magnetism. As the Earth’s magnetic poles gradually shifts from + to -, from the North pole  back to the South pole, so the story of Oedipus Rex yet tilts toward the ‘kingly’ pole, while the Democratic pole, represented by Queen Iocaste, finds fault with the system and subjects it to a test that turns out to be catastrophic in result. I.e., the entire Kingly ‘political system’ goes down as a result of one woman’s anxieties, just as today our Democratic ‘political system’ may be going down for the simple reason that one presumably ‘democratic’ President cannot—because a of a social tradition traditionally disciplined by charisma his ‘color’ denies him.

The BIG question of course is how pareidolia effects reality. Does the ‘observer effect’ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Observer_effect  when expressed through naming have the same effect as a glance has on an electron?

We know from the Hawthorne effect http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawthorne_effect that when we know we are observed, we tend to alter our behavior in favor of what we believe to be the desires of our observer. Not surprisingly, the ‘effect’ was the discovery of factory management and is vigorously pursued today by government spying on individual privacy through built-in spying devices in our mobile telephones, computers, and other electronic devices, The latter ostensibly to intimidate the city-genry (citizenry) from turning against the government with his-her thoughts, and ‘God forbid’ acts, which necessarily cannot be interpreted any other as having ‘terrorist’ intent.

This is the point when we return to our first example (see ED 443), where the presumption that “Jesus died for our sins” is inserted (2 Corinthians 5:21 http://biblia.com/bible/nasb95/2%20Cor.%205.21 ), because over the long term it frees the ruling elite from guilt over exerting control over the lower classes, ‘luds’, ‘ludis’, or ‘rudes’: “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”. In effect, this is where the “exceptionalist” presumption of the U.S. government and all Western Catholic or globalist governments stems from.

While the earliest method of taxation was the ‘fur tax’, it was not then and there instituted by means of the law, but by means of who had the power to do collect it. The early steps to ‘institutionalize’ taxes were taken with the writing of the New Testament, which this author guesses happened sometime at the end of the first and/or beginning of the second millennium in the area now know as the Benelux countries. This is where the Franks of Byzantium fled to after the people of Byzantium finally had had enough of them. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the incineration of the John Basil, The King of the Wood, by Emperor Alexis I. Once in Benelux, the Franks (the Scandinavians, Normans, Anglo-Saxons, Germans, and French) replaced John Basil with Jesus of Nazareth, who served as a second coat of sentimental paint over the Rock of Ages http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM7gt_cSxjw , and seemingly buried the King of the Wood beneath the rubble of the Freudian Sphinx for ever.

It is with the National (U.S.) Security Agency’s (NSA) attempt to control the city-genry [a process that began with the successful smashing of the 11th Commandment carried by Moses from Mt. Sinai http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tablets_of_Stone about a thousand years before] that a major social epoch is drawing to its conclusion. The necessity for the destruction of the 11th Commandment (likely of a t of 13, as the year at that time was divided by 13 moons) was because it declared “THOU SHALT NOT TAX THE LUDIS”, but which was essential in the creation of the age so many have been forced to endure.

The reason which makes the 11th Commandment read ‘prohibition’ of taxation is because the elites soon realized that it is not honest trade that calls for  government (as a protector), but taxation. It is through the institutionalization of taxation that the peple were enslaved and crippled for the long term, something that neither Marx, Engels, Lenin, or Jefferson  perceived, yet which Hannah Arendt (of “banality of evil” fame) did not perceive as he corner  stone of Western ‘civilization’).

The national income tax of the United States of America has an interesting ‘democratic’ history http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0005921.html though the 16th Amendment http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sixteenth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution&action=history soon turned the government into a seat for the ‘elected’* rich and turned the long term future of the American people one of a lower class existence.

Like it or not, this creates another BIG question: Is ‘democracy’ a form of government or is it the ultimate lie consumed by a fantasy? Are not the skeptics-and material realists behaving in a manner they are used to in a universe that has long imagined the past to be their reality when in fact its past is long past being real and has renewed itself in a future that has come to its in a surprisingly unexpected manner?

The second example (see EC443 for the first) of Truth embedded in a Lie is from Anna Comnena’s biography of her Father Emperor Alexis I (1048–1118) of Byzantium. While the scene precedes that of the crucifixion of Jesus on which the chronology of Scaligarius is based, but post-dates the event by some eleven hundred years after the crucifixion. Writes Anna Comnena in her “Alexiad” (quoted from p204, The Bogomils, Dmitri Obolensky):

A very large trench was dug and a quantity of wood, all tall trees piled up together, made the structure look like a mountain….. Then they… took him and pushed him… into the middle of the pyre. And the flames, as if deeply enraged against him, ate the impious [and ‘adamant’—EAB] man up, without any odor arising or even a fresh column of smoke, only one thin smoky line could be seen in the midst of the flames….

“…The thin smoky line” is all the recognition our Western post-quantum mechanics civilization will allow the civilization of our forebears. The hubris of our days rides high, as one Latvian critic (biologist Vents Zvaigzne) opines about research of near death experience (RL, 11/2014) and confesses being confounded and confused by “…the news and facts of the jokers about the activities of the brain during the period of clinical death.” Though the orthodox biologist does not accuse the ‘jokers of not being scientists, he does belittle them for being of ‘populist’ orientation. Such snobbish attitudes are a common characteristic among intellectuals from cultures they see as too insignificant to be a populist part of.

The above examples are among the founding examples on which Western materialist philosophy grounds the superiority of the printed and copyglot (printed ad infinitum) word (?a la Twitter) over that of oral communication, which communicates resonances clearly absent from the pseudo juridicial (writing as validation of truth) copyglot process.

For all that, we have come to a time when the written word no longer carries the weight the U.S. Supreme Court and the science establishment continues to endow it with. This is in belated recognition of the problem that beset physicists in the first part of the 20th century, which was solved by the theories of Nils Bohr, which Albert Einstein at first refused to recognize. Yet the ‘quanta’ of Nils Bohr proved to be the right solution.

Might not such ‘quanta’ also be applicable to our mundane reality? This is where I believe experimentation with pareidolia comes in. I.e.: the ‘observer effect' is as aplicable to measurement as to naming.

While no Einstein, I am a determined egalitarian, and some would even call me a ‘communist’. While I have considered the theories of Marx and on occasion have imagined myself to be in the shoes of Lenin (who once scribbled a note that gave my maternal grandfather permission to search for his lost wife, even as Lenin warned him to leave the matter be, because the platforms of railroad stations were piled high with corpses), I have never managed to become as convinced as a Bolshevik was that ‘communism’ was a political theory would stand the test of time.

This is perhaps why over the years, I came to believe that egalitarianism and communism have little to do with those wishing to turn societies into the mirror images of their ideology, but are genetic shadows imprinted on the human Mind through millions of years of life in the wood. Such belief in the importance of the physical environment in determining society was the result of spending my childhood on a Latvian farm, where the economy and life-style was still influenced by life in the wood.

While my soujourn on the farm was during a time of war and governments ruled supreme, I do not recall that life about me was influenced by such intrusions of government as meeting tax obligations through payments of money, but rather through payments in kind. In effect, the economy was still a barter economy: you paid what you could, but it was not in the interest of government to bankrupt the farmer or make him non=productive by turning him into a factory worker (as kolhoznics were) while the production of grain was important to keep the military forces fed and fighting.

After the capitalist forces won the war and capitalism prevailed, and I became a city dweller again, I remained a determined egalitarian through a naturalist orientation, even as I recognized that without capital accumulation and the inequalities it brought about, many of the contributions attributable to capitalism would not be possible. This presented a dilemma, which I recognized could not be resolved by personal ideology, but would be consequent to an environment (however it came about) beyond control of society. It is, thus, that I came to think that the effects of pareidolia are applicable not only to linguistics and music, but also affect social conditions.

In order to escape being accused of being death dealing schizophrenics and creating for themselves a history out of random fantasies of power spun of discarded wire gathered from forgotten gravel quarries, the establishmentarians have created institutions they call bureaucracies (ministries, universities, libraries, dictionaries, books of synonyms and antonyms), all firing at their opponents from as many Gatling guns as possible to defend the construction of a World bankrupt of Mind.

To help the reader orient him- or her-self between what is mine and thine way of seeing history, here are some of the ‘official’ definitions of the tools this writer uses to construct his perspective of history and herewith shares with the reader:

Pareidolia is a type of apophenia, seeing patterns in random data.”
https://www.google.lv/?gws_rd=ssl#q=define+pareidolia Whereas “Apophenia /æpɵˈfniə/ is the experience of seeing patterns or connections in random or meaningless data http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apophenia . As the last tells it:

In 1958, Klaus Conrad published a monograph titled Die beginnende Schizophrenie. Versuch einer Gestaltanalyse des Wahns ("The onset of schizophrenia. Attempt to shape analysis of delusion", not yet translated or published in the English language),[1] in which he described in groundbreaking detail the prodromal mood and earliest stages of schizophrenia. He coined the word "Apophänie" to characterize the onset of delusional thinking in psychosis. This neologism is translated as "apophany", from the Greek apo [away from] + phaenein [to show], to reflect the fact that the schizophrenic initially experiences delusion as revelation.[4] In contrast to epiphany, however, apophany does not provide insight into the true nature of reality or its interconnectedness, but is a "process of repetitively and monotonously experiencing abnormal meanings in the entire surrounding experiential field", which are entirely self-referential, solipsistic and paranoid”….

It is not my desire to put down Klaus Conrad just because he was a Nazi psychiatrist, who went on to become a professor of psychiatry and neurology, and director of the University Psychiatric Hospital in Göttingen from 1958 until his death, but to point out the interconnectedness of the Nazi mindset with that of the Gothic (post Byzantium) modern mindset as a whole.

As I have argued in previous blogs, our Western history is a pareidolia and apophinia driven power play that best displays itself in recreating history (especially the last thousand years of it)  in its own image, and consolidating that image through a mindbogling exercise of ‘copygloting’ (repetitive copying) it by way of the print and IT media.

It, thus,  becomes ‘natural’ that psychiatrists such as Klaus Conrad ‘copyglot’ their fantasy of history in  an endless series of denials that another history underlies the fantasy of their particular ‘historical’ party.

That such “another history” underlies the present taught to us in our schools, is strongly supported by the Russian mathematicians and topologist Anatoly Fomenko in his multi-volume analysis of Western History as set forth by the Catholic theologian Scaligarius, who first set into motion the ‘official’ chronology of history we now call our own. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Chronology_(Fomenko) .

The ‘official’ Truth began the moment royal power and might was able to prove the Word of mouth no longer to speak true. There are two well known examples of it embedded in the ‘official’ history of religion the West calls its own. The better known version (of the two) is  etched by the scene of Jesus’s crucifixion http://www.gty.org/resources/bible-qna/BQ032913/Why-Did-Jesus-Cry-My-God-My-God-Why-Have-You-Forsaken-Me . The scene illustrates the moment when Trust in the spoken Word is lost. As the link describes the import of the scene:

The Father forsook the Son because the Son took upon Himself “our transgressions, … our iniquities” (Isa. 53:5). Jesus “was delivered up because of our transgression” (Rom. 4:25) and “died for our sins according to the Scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3). He “who knew no sin [became] sin on our behalf” (2 Cor. 5:21) and became “a curse for us” (Gal. 3:13). “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross” (1 Pet. 2:24), “died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust” (1 Pet. 3:18), and became “the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10).

In effect, Jesus, turned into the Savior of our Elites, lied to our People or Luds, so that the Elite could live with their lie. And our Elites (in Washington, Brussels, Moscow, Beijing, and Riga et al) live ‘saved’ from their lies because the ‘written’ word tells it so ad infinitum.

I have spent much time reflecting on the theme of King Oedipus http://oedipusrexrewritten.blogspot.com/2014/09/oedipus-synopsis-king-ludi-ii-play.html . Taking a radically different point of view from that of Sigmund Freud, whose view dwells on incest, my interpretation of Sophocle’s play reads it as the beginning of alienation of government from the people, aka ludi or ud or ut.

While the causes of this alienation are many (all of the reasons cannot be elaborated at equal lengths and in equal detail, until others beside this author perceive Western history as a fairytale), the essential cause is that of privilege.

Whatever the initial privilege, it soon goes to the head of the leader, prince, king or queen, who thereafter refuses to suffer the same fate as the ordinary ut or lout of his kingdom or state. Over the centuries, even thousands of years, such an alienation, once set in motion, explores many labyrinthine passages—going both in and coming out of them. In our time, we have entered a passage that has no exit, no explanation, no nothing, all of which (a la Jean Sartre) is summed up by nausea, which the 21st century has overlaid with nauseous positivism.

The entrance through the door topped by the sign ‘No Exit’ leads to a labyrinth where the reigns of the kingdom are in the presumptious minds of the elites. Inability to escape from this labyrinth creates a tragic separation: one of which presumes itself to be ‘elite’ or ‘right’ element, while it believes its extended self to be a ‘lower’ entity.

These names and words by which + (pluses) and – (minuses) humans have known and identified themselves by have, in fact, nothing to do with being human, but derive from the name of a tiny insect that beset humans when we still possessed more body hair than today, to wit: the louse. While some readers may question the logic by which I arrive at such a deduction, I am satisfied that pareidolia is the right method through which to arrive at such a conclusion. Here are some of the trajectories:

In Latvian the word for ‘louse’ is: uts;
In Lithuanian: utėlė;
In Russian: ВОШЬ;  vosh;
Also in Russian: ОТВРАТНЫЙ ТИП, otvratni tip; disgusting type;
In German: Laus.

In Latvian the word for ‘people’ is: lyaudis;
    In Lithuanian: žmonės; i.e., Yones or johns;
In Russian: НАРОД, na-rod;
In German: Leute

What is interesting is the change in sounds that over a period of time the vowels and consonants are exposed to. Thus,

The Russian ВОШЬ=‘vosh’ derives from uosh or osh or even uts;
the Russian ОТВРАТНЫЙ = ‘otvratii=’disgusting, other, retains the  ‘u(o)t’.
Indeed, ОТВРАТНЫЙ = ‘otvratii in Latvian means ‘other side’- otrahdi.

Pareidolia links these words in the following manner: louse

The Lithuanian ‘žmones’ does not lend itself to above pareidolia, because it likely predates the word ‘ludi’ (see below), which suggests that it disengaged from Latvian before these people (related to Lithuanians) knew the horse (arklys in Lithuanian). This also suggests that Baltic (Latvian and Lithuanian) and Russian languages (distant relatives) developed during a period when the horse was already used to entertained people in racing contests. The Lithuanian ‘ž(m)’ = ‘j’ as in John. stays its course when it translates the Latvian word for theatrical ‘play’, luga, into ‘žaisti’, the latter likely referring to Midsummer Solstice festivities known in Latvian as Johns (?žanti or yanyi).

I realize that the average reader may find such parallels of little interest, even as scholars may find them questionable. Nevertheless, when tracing origins of cultures and civilizations, such parallels provide important clues (pretentions of scholars to exclusivity notwithstanding) about the development of humankind itself.

The Lithuanian ‘žaisti’ associates through pareidolia with the Estonian ‘eesti’, which in English means ‘east(enders)’, which in German means ‘Ost’(land), and in Latvian means the  ‘dawn’ of morning: ausma.

I will touch on more pareidolic reasoning in the next blog, when I discuss the origin of the word ‘ludi’, re: people and how ‘goveRnment’ becomes ‘goveLment’.
