A chorus is a group of singers or speakers, which the longer the group exists becomes ever more like that of a single body or a community.

This was something well known by my forebears who reconstructed the war torn social fabric of what was once known as Livonia. Indeed, their restitution and healing was so successful that out of their effort, there emerged in the course of time two separate countries: Estonia and Latvia.

Today, however, the two states are falling apart and crumbling, and no one seems to be able to put Humpty Dumpty together again. Why? What has changed? The 18^th and 19^th centuries were after all still horse and buggy days, whereas today we live not only in the machine age, but the machine rules almost over everything, and is being superseded by the electron and talk goes of a coming age of quantum computers.

The answer is a simple one: Today the states are so centralized and powerful that they cannot envisage ‘running’ a country any other than from the top or from the top down as we say.

If so, did not the Herrnhuters (my forebears) do something wrong? Well, yes, they did. They passed their power and authority to the Lutherans, a ‘reformed’ branch of globalizing Catholic theology. Because they did not believe in violent opposition, but were willing to submit like lambs. The latter according to the teaching of Matthew 10:16 http://biblehub.com/matthew/10-16.htm : “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves….” When the Lutheran clergy pressed the Herrnhuters to vacate their places for the orthodox church, the Herrnhuters withdrew. Of course, some did act shrewdly. My grandfather was one of them. He withdrew from teaching and went into newspapering and hit it big. By way of England, America, and then Russia, they brought to Latvia the penny newspaper concept, which necessarily made the newspaper the vehicle of advertising.

But such individual successes did not manage to keep the values of my grandfather’s predecessors intact. In a few words, the old values argued that there should not stand some other between man, woman and God. An absolute and non-thinking dogma of non-violence retreated meekly when it should have found ways to repell the orthodox attacks. Unfortunately, the means were not discovered.

Yet such means of non=violence exist, as I have argued some hundred blogs or more in the past, where I translate ‘non-violence’ to really carry the meaning of ‘not-violence’. What distinguishes the two words is that ‘not-violence’ defines violence as non-violence against others, but reserves it for itself as a tool of self-sacrifice on behalf of one’s own. Indeed, one Latvian historian, Kaspars Klavins has argued in his book “apSTĀVĒŠANA” that the descendants of Latvian Herrnhuters were noted for their ability to sacrifice themselves for their fellows, when they participated in rebellions against their German overlords.

The concept of not-violence was removed from the values of the Catholic Christian Church, probably due to pressures from secular rulers, just as same had forced some early Eastern  Christians to reject community practices when coming face to face with taxation.  This resulted in power and authority passing to secular parties, who then founded a separate Western tax supporting Church.

Examples of not-violent Gods begin with the Christian God Jesus (and/or John Basil) and reach far far back in time, among the latter which is the Aztec God Nanahuatzin (see previous blog), who due to his self-sacrifice not only came from the ranks of the humblest of gods to become the Sun Itself. In any case, while the doctrine of not-violence existed implicitly in the Herrnhuter teachings, they failed to remember the act of their founders (John and/or Jesus) as they died in a fire pit or on the cross.

The Catholic and Globalist teachings against violence are a matter of dogma today, and are reflected in most Western liberal countries rejecting the death sentence. Given that the elites and government leaders today do not sacrifice themselves, but have been effectively removed from the ranks of common soldiers who must die on orders of their orders, I concur with reservations. That reservation states that it is the leadership that must exercise obligatory self-sacrifice if humankind is to achieve for non-violence a place in the Sun.

My reversal of government imposed values follows ancient theology found in many myths, where it is not only the King who dies, but also where God sacrifices Himself, when he rejects his own prayer by responding to it with an autodictat: "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as you, not I, would have it."

In order to escape being accused of being death dealing schizophrenics and creating for themselves a history out of random fantasies of power spun of discarded wire gathered from forgotten gravel quarries, the establishmentarians have created institutions they call bureaucracies (ministries, universities, libraries, dictionaries, books of synonyms and antonyms), all firing at their opponents from as many Gatling guns as possible to defend the construction of a World bankrupt of Mind.

To help the reader orient him- or her-self between what is mine and thine way of seeing history, here are some of the ‘official’ definitions of the tools this writer uses to construct his perspective of history and herewith shares with the reader:

It is not my desire to put down Klaus Conrad just because he was a Nazi psychiatrist, who went on to become a professor of psychiatry and neurology, and director of the University Psychiatric Hospital in Göttingen from 1958 until his death, but to point out the interconnectedness of the Nazi mindset with that of the Gothic (post Byzantium) modern mindset as a whole.

As I have argued in previous blogs, our Western history is a pareidolia and apophinia driven power play that best displays itself in recreating history (especially the last thousand years of it)  in its own image, and consolidating that image through a mindbogling exercise of ‘copygloting’ (repetitive copying) it by way of the print and IT media.

It, thus,  becomes ‘natural’ that psychiatrists such as Klaus Conrad ‘copyglot’ their fantasy of history in  an endless series of denials that another history underlies the fantasy of their particular ‘historical’ party.

That such “another history” underlies the present taught to us in our schools, is strongly supported by the Russian mathematicians and topologist Anatoly Fomenko in his multi-volume analysis of Western History as set forth by the Catholic theologian Scaligarius, who first set into motion the ‘official’ chronology of history we now call our own. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Chronology_(Fomenko) .

The ‘official’ Truth began the moment royal power and might was able to prove the Word of mouth no longer to speak true. There are two well known examples of it embedded in the ‘official’ history of religion the West calls its own. The scene illustrates the moment when Trust in the spoken Word is lost. As the link describes the import of the scene:

Jesus “was delivered up because of our transgression” (Rom. 4:25) and “died for our sins according to the Scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3). In effect, Jesus, turned into the Savior of our Elites, lied to our People or Luds, so that the Elite could live with their lie. And our Elites (in Washington, Brussels, Moscow, Beijing, and Riga et al) live ‘saved’ from their lies because the ‘written’ word tells it so ad infinitum.

THE SUPERNATURAL AND SUBJECTIVE (5 of 6)

We have read about the Resurrection, but have given little thought that in order for it to take place we need to return to superstition, a term, which was invented by the superstition of science that the mind dies with the body.

I will attempt to answer the question about the origins of ‘superstition’ in a later blog. On this occasion, I will try to stick with the Easter theme, which for the absence in our time of self-sacrifice is no longer accompanied by Resurrection—except as a meaningless word.

Easter is a time in which—so superstition tells us—Jesus rose from the dead. The creators of Easter hastened to celebrate their new Holyday before (the end of April or early May), when the Beltaines began their night and day orgy dedicated to the green fire.

While critics of literature shy away from making the connection, the Greek playwright Euripides wrote a reasonably accurate description of what went on during  “The Bacchae”. What we miss when we read the play is that King Pentheus did not lose his head due to the ‘madness’ of  his mother Agaue having eaten a basket full of fly agaric, but because the king had instituted a gender change for the Sun, which up to that particular festival had been known by her name in the feminine gender–Sonne (German and Old English), or Saule (Latvians).

For reasons of his own, that is to say, for subjective reasons, Euripedes likely believed that the old superstition of the Sun being the mother of all life on Earth (Zemele*) was so ingrained in the minds of the people of the wood that it could never be erased.

The clue of what the superstition about Saule/Sonne was is revealed in a Latvian folk poem, which tells that at Her rising and setting the rays of Sun (Saule, f.g.) shear the tree tops. We may remember here that King Pentheus had climbed to the top of a pine to better see the orgies below. When the Sun rose, her rays blinded the autistic and sex starved King, and when climbing out of the tree, for lack of sight, he lost his footing and grip and tumbled to the Earth below to be ‘devoured’ by his mother (Agaue or Zemele, take your pick).

I believe that the same “Bacchae” event was reflected in the Aztec rites of human sacrifice at the top of Templo Major in what is now Mexico City. When the corpses of the sacrificed (at the top tier of the temple) were thrown down the steep steps, these were awaited below by a two dimensional sculpture of a dismembered Earth Mother— Tlaltecuhtli http://www.famsi.org/research/pohl/images/aztec3figure1.jpg . By a curious and paradoxical twist in the story, Coatlicue (aka ‘the serpent skirt’, the Mother of the Gods and all heavenly bodies, including the Sun) had given birth to the Sun as a male. As if to make up for the error, female sacrifices were also made at the temple (probably to give the Sun feminine aspects). The difference in the story of the Aztecs and Greek Dyonysians is that the Aztecs had the Sun give birth to the male gender as if to replace Her real feminine self. Realizing her mistake, She sacrifice herself to correct herself.

There are so many versions of who the Sun is among the Aztecs http://www.aztec-history.com/aztec-sun-god.html that all those who cared were very confused. To decide whose version is right without going to war over it, the Aztec Gods called for a big get together to see which one of them was able to sacrifice him or herself in lieu of a war by jumping in a pit of fire. None of the Gods proved brave enough. As among government officials today, none of the elite wished to lose life, when there was a surplus of peons available to die in their stead.

At last a God covered by open sores of a venereal disease (to indicate that he was both a God and a human) called Nanauatzin, later renamed Tonatuih, jumped into the fire. By being consumed in a fire (almost identical to the death of John Basil in old Byzantium), Nanauatzin connects to  the fires of the Dyonisian Bacchae Festival, the People of Johns Festival among the Latvians, the Beltaine Festival of Ireland and Scotland, and not least, the death of Jesus Christ (the traitorously renamed John Basil).

Being of pure fire, the Sun demands that in times of peace she is remembered by a display of fire, but in times of war, when the continuance of life appears in doubt, she must be remembered with a self-sacrifice. As the link below tells it, if ordinary sins were confessed by the Slavs in an ordinary hole in earth, sins against life demand a hole deep enough to reach fire.

The death of the capitalist monstrosity may be dramatic and tragic, but even more notable is its inevitability. These last five blogs have given a rough sketch of the rise of capitalism from the vikings (raids) of Vikings to secure themselves women and slaves to its present end in bankruptcy.

True, my view is somewhat unconventional, in that I see its success in having had the perception to organize itself from the very first around an old folk religion that lent itself to being rewritten into a religion, which through the power of the letter could be interpreted to be law. That religion is Christianity as contained in the story of fiction known as The New Testament.

The trick the writers of this fiction used was to build a new story plot around old and traditional values: deep respect for all nature as the creation of the same forces that created humankind, and agape, love and respect that goes far beyond the sexual urge. The fiction was written as a spectacle: a just man (Jesus) unfairly accused of working against the government by the very forces that represented the old and traditional values, which were specifically identified as of the Jews, though this was done but to divert the anger of the common folk on the Jews rather than the capitalists, the princes who were the real power behind the tax collectors. In some ways, the plot behind the ‘Christian’ spectacle reminds one of Thornhill (Cary Grant playing the folk), who is/are introduced as the non-existent ‘Kaplan’ (Judas) in Alfred Hitchcock’s film North by Northwest. In a ‘rewritten’ story of my own (actually—if you include the original-- the 3rd  rewrite of the story when you think of it), http://OedipusRexRewritten.blogspot.com , I reinstate the original values that likely guided the plot of the play over what we today are led to believe is a story of incest. I suspect that both the New Testament and Oedipus Rex were written and rewritten sometime in the 13^th or 14^th centuries.

The problem with the power of impotence vis a vis the impunity of power, is that impotence cannot unseat capitalist impunity by force. It must wait for “…no one knows the day or hour….” Fortunately, impotence weighs heavy on the heart, which is why there are writers who expose the story through writing. Herman Melville’s “Moby Dick” is one such story and is brought to our attention by the commentary of Chris Hedges at Truthdig:

Herman Melville has no doubts about the fact that he lives in an age where religion is Capitalism. He puts the words in the mouth of Ishmael (speaking for himself and us): “If I had been downright honest with myself, I would have seen very plainly in my heart that I did but half fancy being committed this way to so long a voyage, without once laying my eyes on the man who was to be the absolute dictator of it, so soon as the ship sailed out upon the open sea. But when a man suspects any wrong, it sometimes happens that if he be already involved in the matter, he insensibly strives to cover up his suspicions even from himself. And much this way it was with me. I said nothing, and tried to think nothing.”

And then again there are impotencies that are impatient as those of Iahn Basil and Jesus, who decided to express the power of their impotence through self-sacrifice. Apparently this power of impotence is so powerful that even the impudent powers dared not overwrite this factor from the last words of Psalm 22:1 attributed to both: “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me!?”

The way of Iahn Basil the Bogomil, who did not shirk being thrown into a pit of fire (see Anna Comnena’s “Alexiad”), remains open for all of us. Yes, it is to enter upon another “…so long a voyage”; but then the mercy over those asleep and dead is that time does not exist; and the reward may be an awakening with a foot on the step out of the grave of religious Capitalism and its way with Christiany.

25 Blood Libeled History

A young forester, just out of forestry school, takes his first job as a forest fire watch. His job is to sit at a look out station and watch for smoke or other signs of fire.

The forest is a new growth forest and is located in Israel. In the course of his daily tasks, the forester discovers that the forest hides the ruins http://tinyurl.com/ntk2o5 of a Palestinian village. During the Israeli war against the Palestinians in 1948, the village was set afire, and later a forest was planted over it. An old Palestinian tends the station. His tongue was cut out during the war. The old man cannot tell what happened, but manages to get himself across nevertheless.

The young forester learns that his workstation is the Palestinian’s former home; moreover, that during the war the man’s wives were murdered here. The dark secrets reveal themselves after the old Palestinian burns down the forest and among the ashes we see stand the silhouette of the Palestinian village.

The story, a novella called “Facing the Forest” (1963), by A.B. Yehoshua, a well-known Israeli writer, remains controversial. It is controversial in Israel, because the writer describes the violence as an inescapable byproduct of the founding of the state of Israel during its war for independence. The tongueless Palestinian represents silenced history.

The novella becomes yet more controversial when the reader recalls that the state of Israel is founded on myth, which is to say, its founding did not only involve violence but also created a story, a myth, a lie of how the land came to be in Israeli possession. Nevertheless, the lie is believed to be divine and to have the blessings of God.

To say that the foundation of Israel is violence and myths may bring on one the curse of the Zionist terrorist and late Prime Minister of Israel, Ben Gurion (1886-1973). The latter accused those who did not believe that the State of Israel was founded on objective history of being guilty of “blood libel”. However, the state of Israel is only one small product of violence ruled times.

It is not only the history of Israel, but the history of the West, even the history of the world, that is written with an understanding that the result will be a lie designed to hide a lie. The victor writes the history of the whys and wherefores of his “holy” war and, thus, explains his right to be the dominant power. To disbelieve the victor earns the doubter a curse of “blood libel”. The very history of neo-Christianity is a long book justifying violence, first against the so-called “heretics”, the arch-Christians; second against the Jews for admitting so many arch-Christian “converts” fleeing the cruelty of neo-Christians; and third, violence going out of control and becoming a universal habit.

The punishment that the doubter earns depends on the exposure he to the victor: whether he is a large or a small nation, weak or strong, nuclear armed or not, near or far. Russia—the leading nation of the former Soviet Union—apologized to Poland over the Katin forest murders of 22,000 Polish officers in 1940-1941 only in 2009 http://tinyurl.com/nmcsnr , while it has not yet acknowledged that it occupied its small neighbor Latvia in 1940. Thus, Latvia, an independent nation again, endures a “blood libel” curse from Russia, which Latvia’s big neighbor hides behind the word “fascist”, i.e., Latvia “a fascist nation”.

The institutive act of the West (Russia including) was the murder of the arch-Christian Basil (an event most likely to have occurred in the 12th century; whether Basil’s name was Ivan, John, or Yan), the Byzantine holy man, and his replacement with Jesus and the neo-Christian myth of Jesus. Byzantine Emperor Alexeus I, the executioner, was among the first of the movement of secularist kings, princes, and barons who—in order to do their will unopposed—wanted to remove from civil society the strong willed self-sacrificial Johns.

However, the secularist movement was stronger in the West. This was most likely because the territories of Western Europe were settled late compared with the settlement of the territories in the East. In the West, arch-Christian traditions had not yet sunk as deep roots as in the East. This is why the war for secularist domination contained a war within itself, i.e., among the secularists themselves. Thus, before the secular West began its “crusades” against its own peoples (the Cathars, the Children of Johns among the Balts, etc.), they needed to eliminate its competition from the East. The so-called Fourth Crusade, 1204, against Constantinople, the capital of Byzantium, did this. The goal of the Crusade was to destroy the center of the world in the East and bring it to the West. Of course, the West took advantage of the fact that Alexius I had already murdered Basil. It let Alexius I take his deserved murderer’s wrap, at the same time as it renamed Basil-John as Jesus, and removed him from the open roads of Earth to the prison of Heaven.

Another institutive act of the West involved Russia. In real time, Russia is what remains of a vast sacred kingdom over which there once ruled no secular ruler. Instead of secular rulers, the land of the open roads and pathways was “ruled” by the wandering teachers cum priests, cum shamans, cum kings known as Johns. The Indian holy men or sadhus—babas—is all that remains of the Johns today.

Jesus replaced Ivan in Russia with the arrival of the Romanov tsars. The name Romanov is, for the Slavs, a two-edged sword. In the days of John-Basil, the inhabitants of the Byzantine Empire (considered by many to be part of the original borderless sacred empire) knew themselves as Romans, Rome being the name of any charismatic center or bastion. However, these Romanovs came no longer by way of Constantinople, but by way of Rome in Italy.

The institutionalized lies continue to be defended. When a well-known Russian mathematician-statistician, also historian, Anatoly Fomenko, wished to advertise his books in Britain, the BBC, a western propaganda resource of note, refused to carry the advertisement. Why? Because it would suggest that the perspective on history in the West is the result of a lie and question whether the history of the West is as the West claims.

17 Beyond Orgasm

Claiming to be in possession of one of the “great religions”, i.e., Christianity, the politicians of our civilization opened the gates to impermissible freedom (the state of nature) in sexual matters. Not surprisingly, drugs enhanced the sexual “drive”, raised the blood pressure, and sensitized the erectile tissue of sexual organs above normal. Christianity which ought to have checked the drugs and the behavior that resulted from their use, failed to do this, because the servants of the elites, the politicians, had made sure that the inspirational leaders of Christianity, the Johns, were renamed as one name, Jesus, long before all the consequences were obvious. Once the colleges of Johns were sufficiently repressed with burnings and drownings, Jesus was dismissed to Heaven, a non-existent space, whence he could not affect social behavior on Earth.

One of the catastrophes to result from the dismissal of arch-Christianity under John was an increased number of babies, most of who came into the world of our civilization unplanned and unwanted. Neo-Christianity claimed that these births were the result of “an act of God”, and therefore objected to the mother’s (and perhaps the father’s) crude effort to reverse the effects of hyper-sexualization through abortion. The neo-Christian efforts to stop abortion did not (and could not) work, because Jesus, neutralized as a force on Earth by his removal to heaven, could not intervene in the direct ways that the Johns would have.

How would the Johns have intervened? While this is a hypothetical question and, therefore, does not have a sure answer, the search for ways of preventing conception suggest contraceptives, alternate ways of sexual discharge such as hand stroking, and castration and penis removal in extreme cases.

The people endured the catastrophe brought about by hyper-sexualization, because hyper-sexualization (once the sport of princes and princeses) served as a reward for enduring social hypertension. The impermissible freedom, originally secured by the elites for themselves, allowed the elites to act without a conscience when their presumptions to such freedoms was threatened by social upheavals. While reserving for themselves a statistical niche of 5% of the population, they let the rest of the 95% of hyper-energized people to exploit (rape) the Earth without any sense of guilt. This is how in less than a millennium (according to the historian Anatoly Fomenko, the arch-Christian John was burnt and the neo-Christian Jesus sent to heaven in 1184) our planet was turned into a refuse pile and a desert. In other words, the elites—the oligarchs—satisfied their servants less with money, more with hyper-sexualizing their sexual life. Paying off the middle and working classes with a payment “hidden” within sex (as permissiveness and by overlooking the damage caused by conception), has resulted in the collapse of our civilization. What was supposed to become a field of wheat, a cornucopia of the good life achieved through intelligence, has turned into a field of tares.

One of the first victims of the catastrophe of our civilization are the small nations, the reservoirs of cultural variety, the seed banks for when hybrid plants fail to adapt to disease that they are not programmed to resist. One such victim is the small nation is Latvia.

Latvia, one of the three Baltic nations, escaped some of the brutal consequences of the rule of elitist theology because of being held in a state of “backwardness” by fifty years of Soviet occupation. However, this backwardness was not the result of self-conscious holding back, but because the Soviet Union—whose aim was to emulate the “developed West”—had to struggle against the West to reach equivalence. The West understood all too well that the planet could not two hyper-populated civilizations and fought the Soviets with a “cold war”. When the Soviet Union failed to reach its economic goals and imploded, the people of “backward” Latvia were on their own.

Predictably, the newly liberated Latvia began to copy the ways of the West. Its political parties became fronts for business groups (led by oligarchs or alliances of oligarchs), and the Latvian people, a people who through their forebears were heirs to an ancient culture, were deprived by their political parties (led by their elites of course) of education, specifically knowledge of their history. Instead of renewing and adapting relevant religious elements from their forebears, the Latvian government subsidized—sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly—neo-Christianity and its theology of Jesus, at the same time as it dispossessed John, the native Latvian “god” and/or symbol of unity, and tried to forget him.

The direct support of neo-Christianity may be seen in the act of the president of Latvia attending neo-Christian prayer meetings and state support for annual catholic pilgrimages to Aglona, a site claimed to be especially blessed for catholics. No such favors or visits are ever made to native Latvian religious groups or Johns Eve celebrations. The indirect methods of facilitating the forgetting of arch-Christianity include the dropping the name of John from the festival altogether. Thus, increasingly the festival is being called by the public media a “summer festival”, a “solstice festival”, “ligo festival” (“ligo” is an ancient refrain to Johns Eve songs, similar to neo-Christian “halleluyah”), “fernleaf blossom festival” (once a reference to the revelation of a spiritual mystery, now become a sexual orgasm), and other.

The Latvian president’s attendance of neo-Christian prayer meetings has now reached the stage of permitting neo-Christians to burn the books of Latvian authors. One neo-Christian priest encouraged his congregation to burn Latvian books in a Johns Eve bonfire and called John and religious folk traditions of Latvians as “an ideology that does it [the congregation?] physical and spiritual evil” (my translation of a citation in Diena, 4.8.09).

Be that as it may, the remnant of John or Johns—once an arch-Christian symbol of communal bonds throughout Europe and beyond—is a phenomenon worthy of the attention of spiritual communities throughout the world. John identifies Christianity (what I call arch-Christianity) not with worship of the supernatural, but as a theology inherent in human nature before it is turned into a theology that serves the oligarchs.

Nearly twenty years after Latvia has regained its independence, the oligarchs and their supporters have turned Latvia into a failed state—both, in terms of confusing Latvians as to their past cultural and spiritual legacy and in terms of bankrupting and pauperizing their country. The de facto bankruptcy of Latvia (it is kept from de jure bankruptcy by accepting a spirit-bankrupting loan from the IMF) is not a result of careful and thrifty planning of how to renew Latvia and its traditions. It is the result of overspending, creating irresponsible debt,and in the words coined by one of Latvia’s oligarchs—“flooring the gas pedal”, no doubt, to drive the nation into a tree or a ditch.

Today the Latvian population (1.4 million), its numbers long held in check through various repressions (war dead, suicides, prostitution, deportations, emigration for political as well as economic reasons), finds itself in a death-spiral. The situation report on Latvia is, as some forebear of the Latvian people might have said it, “Oh John!”

2 Terror In The Wind 1



The story of Jesus as told by the New Testament, gives the Passion of Jesus  special attention to elicit from the reader the profoundest of empathy with the horror of it all. The event is alleged to have happened in the 33rd year of Jesus’ life in the city of Jerusalem. This is according to the calendar of the Catholic Church and subsequently all Christian churches. According to the belief of orthodox neo-Christianity, Jesus was born 2010 years ago (counting backward from 2009) in Bethlehem, Palestine.

How was the time of the death of Jesus established?

The Council of Trent (1545-1563) commissioned Joseph Scaligeri (1540-1609) to create for Christendom a new historical chronology. While the argument for the need to establish such a chronology is generally believed to be the prevailing chaos in the chronology of history at that time, an equally good reason for putting history “in order” is that it allowed the Catholic Church to rewrite chronology the way it would like it. Indeed, the 16th century is when centuries of strife by the Church on behalf of the ruling princes against arch-Christianity have ended. The princes of the world and the church have won against the arch-“pagans and heretics”. While the history of money has just begun, there are no further obstacles in the way. The secular forces may proceed with capital accumulation and personal aggrandizement as never before.

Scaligeri was selected not on the grounds of his scholarship, but on grounds of his sympathy with Catholic (neo-Christian) theology. Which is to say, though the chronology of Scaligeri and his followers is interesting and new, can we be sure that Scaligeri is objective? Long before Scaligeri was even born, many books and documents were burned to erase other chronologies and locations of events, and countless forgeries of works alleged to have happened in times imagined were released to the public. Thus, while according to Scaligeri, Jesus was born in the year 1, and died in 33 CE, according to the mathematician and historian Anatoly Fomenko, Jesus may in fact have died sometime between the years of 1084 and 1195.

However, what if Jesus’ name was in reality Basil? Who is Basil? Basil was a holy man living in the Byzantine Empire. He was summoned to Constantinople by the Byzantine Emperor Alexius I (said to have lived 1081-1118), and there executed by the Emperor for of his “heretical” beliefs. Basil however did not die on the cross, but Alexius I’s executioners threw him into a pit of fire. The possibility that Jesus may originally have been Basil may come as a shock some, but the case is worth considering even if there is no final proof. On our answer depends the future, because as many now see, the past is ending on a note not only of a financial and economic crisis (likely to end with a crash), but that the crisis has deep roots in the history of the West. If that history is told contrary to the way it really was and the falsity has affected the way we think and behave, the crash may imbed the falsity for eternity. In that case, our children will repeat our mistakes.

According to Anna Comnena, daughter of Alexius I and author of “The Alexiad of Anna Comnena”*, the “Church” was infiltrated during her father’s reign by “heretics” known as Bogomils (a Slavic word meaning “Lovers of God”). Wishing to trap Basil (the name Vasily is a cognate of)  Alexius I invited him to his quarters, pretended great interest in his teachings, and got Basil to tell him what he believes about God and how one should live under such a God. As they conversed, Alexius I hid behind a curtain a court secretary, who recorded all that Basil told the king.

At the end of the interview the Emperor of Byzantium  rend open the curtain. He then revealed to Basil the text recorded by his secretary, and summoned a conference of “army chiefs and elders of the Church”. After hearing the content of Basil’s teachings, everyone expressed shock and condemned him. Though Basil is not quoted, according Anna Comnena, he “looked askance at our doctrine of the Divine Nature of Christ and wholly misinterpreted His human nature. He even went so far as to call the holy churches the temples of demons and treated as of little importance what among us is believed to be the consecrated Body and Blood of our first High Priest and Sacrifice.”

Basil’s teachings to the king earned Basil “burning and other tortures…”, despite which he [Basil] “…clung with all his might to his devil…. So a huge fire was kindled in the Hippodrome. An enormous trench had been dug and a mass of logs, everyone a tall tree, had piled up to a mountainous height. Then the pyre was lit….”

Brought before the pit, Basil’s woolen cloak was ripped from his shoulders and thrown into the flames. “Let us see if the fire will catch your clothes,” Anna records the executioners as saying with an inflection of contempt for Basil. The heat rising from the pit was so intense that the flames took the cloak into the air. “Look! My cloak flies up to the sky!” Basil is said to have responded to the executioners, who then “…lifted him up and thrust him… into the fire…. The flames… so thoroughly devoured the wretch that there was no odor and nothing unusual in the smoke except one thin smoky line in the centre of the flame.”

We should note that Anna Comnena does not name Jesus or Christ, but presumes it sufficient to call him the “first High Priest and Sacrifice.” Such an avoidance of name makes one think that Anna knows Christ only as a symbol. In fact, in antiquity “Christ” is a name that comes with no other name attached, but was drawn as an X, a cross. In short, Christ is as yet a word that does not represent any one individual, but many individuals who helped to make X so significant and dear.

Anna Comnena writes the story of Basil’s conflict with her Emperor father as if it was a conflict over religious belief. Of course, men do kill each other because of verbal disagreements. At stake may be the Empire—if the Emperor allows his opponent to gain so much public attention as to threaten his position. On the other hand, verbal opponents may also be killed not so much for what they say, but because what they say may give one of the parties to kill him for lateral reasons: the opponent may be standing in the way of acquiring to one gaining more power and/or wealth.

Time for John over Jesus, or Love is

not Sex

The image to the right is an icon of John in its neo-Christian version. However, arch-Christian elements are still clearly visible. For example, the image in the opening in the sky is that of another John, both one preceding and the one after this particular John. The image of John's head at his feet in the holy grail, too, represents the fate of Johns. The scroll in John's left hand would have been (before the days of writing) a palm or oak leaf sprig.

Those who have read my “All About Johns Festival…” at the LatviansOnline site know that I have long argued that the Latvian Jānis (John) belongs to arch-Christendom. The word “Christianity” (Christ + Jahni) itself is an altered form of the words krusts + Jānis (in Latvian Krishjahnis). In short, Jānis-John is the focal point of a concept of religion that stresses love as self-sacrifice for the sake community, its building and maintenance. In the eyes of arch-Christendom, Jesus is John, one of many Johns.

Johns lived and continue to live on Earth, because arch-Christianity believes that it takes the presence of a self-sacrificial spirit to exert direct influence on the behavior of spiritually uneducated men and women. However, neo-Christianity, a religion created by princes and kings, took one John named Jesus and removed him (incidentally with much violence) from Earth to the Nevernever Land of heaven to sit on his hands. Spiritually uneducated men and women have been running riot on Earth ever since. The current financial and economic crisis is but a result of their having “run down” the Earth.

Last Friday (1.23.09) the newly elected president of the United States Obama ended a ban on giving US federal money to international groups that provide information about abortions as well as perform them. As expected, on Saturday a senior Vatican official accused President Obama’s act as “the arrogance of those who, being in power, believe they can decide on life and death.” Another Vatican official stated that the act amounted to “the slaughter of the innocents”.

There is no question that unwanted pregnancies must be prevented before they occur, because they are harmful to both individuals who caused it, and the accidentally created fetus. The only way to do this is through education about sex. Education about sex means the demystification of sex (sexual attraction has nothing to do with love). Among the last remaining Johns on Earth are the Indian sadhus. When an American visited a sadhu (also acclaimed as healers) and told him that he could not get over his addiction to sex, the sadhu began to masturbate and asked the American to join him.

The Catholic church is a neo-Christian sect that supports pyramidal power structures based on weaponry rather than charisma created through self-sacrifice. It ill behooves it to talk about slaughter. However, if it wishes to do so, let the Pope be to the public an example of self-sacrifice. It is time to abandon pomp and circumstance and teach by example as the arch-Christians taught.
