When There is No Hope Left

 

…there is hope left in war. Today such a war is going on in Ukraine.

 

Because I have mentioned such words as ‘proto-Christianity’, ‘early Christianity’ and words of like meaning (as the naming of the present series as “God’s War”), I owe the reader a few explanations of what I mean, even though the context of my blogs ought to have made such explanations redundant. To begin,

 

I believe that humankind is a creature of the wood. Humankind began in the wood, it lived for millions of years in the wood, and we are destined—after enduring endless agonies—to escape the deserts of the cities and return to the wood. If you will, the wood is the real home of libertarians (lovers of freedom), because it is the only place where libertarianism is practiced.

 

Today we have become mostly a population of urban dwellers and believe that as such we are destined to travel to the Moon or Mars and establish more cities there. We believe that the Industrial Revolution which began about the year 1800, while undoubtedly a painful experience for most human beings who did not have roots in some form of privileged class, the breach birth (emerging from the womb feet first) was, nevertheless, a birth trauma that was inevitable and A REVOLUTION to be forever spelled all caps.

 

This writer considers himself fortunate for having been privileged to start out in life by having been born in a wealthy family, experienced death and separation of and from loved ones, depravations both material and spiritual, yet endured decades of life in relative comfort in a society glorifying itself and promoting ‘mass individualism’. Today at the end of a life that has lasted for eight decades, I find myself living by choice among humans forced to perceive themselves as living a near ‘naked’ existence over against a government elite that preaches ‘westernism’, exploits the wood, and presumes capital accumulation as one of life’s primary functions. In other words, I live under a government, which in someone’s words is little but a group of bandits marauding all over the landscape under a flag.

 

For all of the presumption of ‘achievement’ such cultures of marauders riding under a flag believe themselves to be heirs to and bedazzle themselves by pointing to whole deforested and urbanized continents,  it is no less mind boggling to see that the ‘achievement’ has been at the expense of exhausting our planets resources (built up over many millions of years) in only two hundred years.

 

Thus, when I write about proto-Christianity, what I have in mind is essentially a libertarian society living in the wood and sharing life with all the other life forms that live in the wood. This form of life cannot possibly imagine working in a factory in urban England as a hand at a conveyor belt to which one hangs chickens by their legs, and at the end of the day hears claim over 60,000 birds slaughtered.

 

The only place where such woods exist today as I have in mind are to be found in the Amazon, Alaska, Siberia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0F9HP0t8s-0 , and a few other areas of our planet. The rarity of such woods and their distance from major cities is reason why we no longer can imagine living a life there. Yet, just because today we have been alienated from the wood, and the reindeer (and buffalo) herds became victims to a tax crazed sociopathic culture, does not mean that Earth cannot regenerate itself. The tenets of proto-Christianity are embedded in ancient languages, not so-called ‘holy scriptures’, which when all is said and done are sentimental stories, created out of stories of murder by a people forced to look on their past in hindsight. Thus, stories are not only tinged with nostalgia, but are sentimental, written by a priesthood acting as agent on behalf of taxation to make it seem as if it was part of a God given order of nature.

 

The corruption of native languages by urban and print oriented civilization is as callous of the spirit moving oral languages as that of the murder of people by the rockets of our governments. One example is my own native language—Latvian. The unique spiritual aspect of the Latvian language (one that imparts life in every animate and inanimate thing) is the endearing word. Yet in the urban environment of our time, the urban Latvians have no use for this feature of my language. In short, the Latvian language as it is today is a relic of what it once was.

Speaking of War Subjectively 3

While I am not into numerology, I cannot fail to notice that this year, 2014, is the centennial year since the 1^st World War https://www.google.lv/?gws_rd=ssl#q=photos+of+ww1 ; a war said to be one of the most senseless, and ounce for ounce most costly in human lives. As Americans ought to know, the senselessness of WW1 was preceded by their own allegedly sensical(?) Civil War, which was fought on behalf of urban capitalism in order to eliminate rural capitalism https://www.google.lv/?gws_rd=ssl#q=photos+of+battle+of+gettysburg , and which (under the guise of freeing black slaves of the south) the urban north won.

The victory of the Union army of Lincoln, though Lincoln himself was assassinated (1863) by Confederacy and ruralist supporter  Booth http://law2.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/lincolnconspiracy/lincolnconspiracy.html , confirmed the defeat of the Ludites (~1812) in England http://www.luddites200.org.uk/theLuddites.html, and set the stage—by many intermediate stages—for the war in the Ukraine today. We may note that Booth’s main reason for assassinating Lincoln was Lincoln’s desire to form a Union. This ‘union’ may be likened to the desire of capitalist powers today to form a European Union, which, lacking broad based public support in Europe, is attempting to corral such support by fostering (with the help of America and its Trojan horse in Europe--NATO) a war of ‘liberty’ in Ukraine. Ukraine’s role to Europe is roughly the same as the Confederate role vis a vis the America Unionists some hundred fifty years ago.

The problem for the supporters of the European Union today is that Ukraine is supported by Russia, which has had a presence there for many centuries. While one may argue that Russia remains largely a rural power, it nevertheless has nuclear weapons, which draw an equal (=) sign between East (Ukraine) and West (Ukraine + EU and NATO) when we speak in military terms. A victory for a federated EU means loss of sovereignty to many heretofore sovereign nations. This compares, roughly, with the loss of importance of the original 13 colonies of America which had secured independence from the British raj in a War of Independence. Whatever their earlier ideas about sovereignty (especially New York and Vermont) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albany_Plan there may have been, following the Civil War the 13 colonies were forgotten.

As I write (September 4, 2014), a two day conference of EU and NATO nations is gathering in Wales, England http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-29056870 . As the conference gains traction, a war monger, the  former Danish PM Fogh Rassmussen attempts to fix everyone’s attention on the exceptionality and righteousness of the West by letting a professional liar,  the oligarch PM of Ukraina present his fascist war as a righteous war.

The Kenyan born President of the U.S., Barrack Obama, makes his case that Russia is engaged in “brazen aggression”, and that Moscow is attempting to redraw borders "at the barrel of a gun". As for the American ludi, they may have weapons, but their voice is like that of the castrati.

The Bilderberger attempt to remake the face of America puzzled when they chose a man of uncertain origin and credentials as the President for the U.S. However, the wide open gates between Mexico and the U.S. show just what the cabal of the oligarchs had in mind: the remaking of the American population (over the long-term) into that of the mestizos http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mestizo who prevails in Latin America. This allows the princes of the West all the greater ‘free hand’ or sovereign power to manipulate a disenfranchised citizenry a la ‘naked’ or ‘bare’ man as perceived by Georgio Agamben http://ceasefiremagazine.co.uk/in-theory-giorgio-agamben-the-state-and-the-concentration-camp/ .

While Agamben appears to delimit sovereign power the state and does not consider it for the likes of ‘bare man’, my own view is that as much as I agree with his point that the state has a tendency to create society in the image of a culture domiciled in a concentration camp, my effort has been to try find an escape from such an entrapment of the bare man by means self-sacrifice as defined by none other than him- or herself. Indeed, the potential for such an escape remains a core element of even neo-Christianity, in spite of the fact that it accepts taxation as a Deus ex machine in the service of the State, the very instrument that reduces all the rest of a state’s inhabitants to the level of mere monkey in the city https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_2qMSzSOKg .

Anyway, yes, the war in Ukraine—it’s all about the expansion of an unnatural limb of the U.S. into Europe!—if need be with the aid of nuclear devices.
