RE-POLARIZING GOD (5)!

Several of the threads of argument throughout these blogs have been a search for the Godhead. One of them was mentioned in the immediately preceding blogs:

1.    That since more than a thousand years ago, the seed of coercive government was planted through the institutionalization of taxation. Taxation should not be confused with gifting, which gifts were meant, for the most part, for the temple and its priesthood, the healers of body and soul.

2.    The institutionalization of taxation could not be accomplished without replacing the ‘old’ priesthood with a new and obedient one. The procedure of deinstitutionalization of old traditions is well known also today. It is called ‘regime change’, and is justified through arguments that claim that the ‘old’ regimes are authoritarian in nature, but the ‘new’ ones bring democracy. What occurs in fact is that the ‘new’ introduces a globalized fascist central government masquerading as democracy.

3.    The policy of regime change began with the replacement of the ancient temple authority, a de facto non-government, or a system where people governed themselves, and where the ‘non-government’ (consisting mostly of wandering healers) taught the people what was required to sustain self-government. This author traces this process to the Byzantine Empire and its Emperor Alexis I, who demonized and torched one such Temple authority: King John Basil under the pretext that he was a ‘heretic’ and headed a heretical ‘religion’ from a Temple known as the Temple of the Bogomils or God Lovers. Indeed there never was a ‘temple’, because the Bogomils worshipped in the wood, which they regarded as their temple.

4.    The Bogomils were in fact the first Kriste-ians, aka Children of Johns (Ians). In any event, John Basil, one of the better known Healers of the Kriste-ians, was persuaded by Emperor Alexis I to leave the wood and come to Byzantium. This was done under the pretext that Alexis was interested in John Basil’s ‘doctrine’ of self-government. When in Byzantium, the real Rome of the day, John Basil was quickly declared a heretic and arrested as an enemy of the Empire. A great pit was dug at the Hippodrome, which pit was filled with firewood, which was lit, and John Basil was made its first victim.

5.    Indeed, the Empire’s act of incinerating the Healer instituted the idea of God as an immortal presence in a Raum (German or Gothic for ‘space’, aka Roma). Whereas before this institutionalization of God, God had not existed as an ‘affirmative’ Being, because eternity was thought of in terms of reincarnation, that is to say, that the Mind itself was a kind of Godhead, an invisible soul or spirit that was not called God, because it was—to put it plainly—everywhere, and could float from body to body. This was why God is, to this day, easily imaginable as a Father figure or an “aged man, but a paltry thing, a tattered coat upon a stick, unless soul clap its hands and sing and louder sing for every tatter in its mortal dress….” (Yeats), and sing itself into an “artifice of eternity”.

6.    Once self-governance and the wood were eliminated by substituting these with a proto-capitalist King, a centralized government of a verbally asserted ‘democracy’, there necessarily arose many ideas of who God is, even though before that time, he had always been ‘an artifice of eternity’.

7.    Emperor Alexis I replaced John Basil, The Healer, who never supported the tax that was paid by slaughtering the Peoples reindeer herds for their fur, with a fictionalized Healer, whom he called Chez Jesus, aka Christ Jesus. It was to be the function of this regime change, that taxation was accepted and that God was to become a unipolar figure through Jesus.

8.    Today a Unipolar God has been made—at least in theory--the spiritual head of a globally centralized government under the aegis of Washington, D.C., Brussels, and a few other ‘chosen’ and obedient vassal cities. Washington continues the ‘crusades’ begun by the Goths, who were eventually driven from Byzantium by a rebellion of the people of the wood, assuming for themselves a new identity known as mohamedans. These Mohamedans-Muslims had been pulled together from a remnant of the people of the wood by one  Mohammed, behind which name we can easily discern the name of Yohan-med, or King John.

 

9.
It is interesting that the ‘terrorist’ adherents of Yohan-med appear not to fear death, even as their method of martyrdom leaves much to be desired—especially as it involves the death of many ‘innocent’ fools living in the desserts of capitalist cities. The short-comings of the martyr-followers of Yohan-med hinder the reversal of the contest for the authority of the God-head, but retains it in favor of post-modernist capitalism.
   

10.  The rationalization of taking the life of ‘another’, no matter how sophisticated the arguments may be, can never re-polarize Religion and reestablish it as a space in an equilibrium in which the Raum of the Wood retakes some of its lost space and resettles it with the reincarnated lives of the martyrs without the blame of innocent victims putting such a burden on their souls that they cannot rise from their graves, and remain not only half-dead and unreincarnated wanderers in the desert of the Dead, but make that desert a continuation of The Dead of The Urban Empire.

Addend 14—Urban Tyranny: P1&P2

Leaders of society or at least such who presume themselves the right to be such without being elected to any such office have been changing biocentered humans into virtual ‘somethings’ for many centuries. In the previous blog, I mentioned how the Jewish ‘mohel’, the circumciser, with a name that rather obviously derives from the name for ‘mother’, through the act of circumcision replaces the boy’s place of origin (his mother’s womb) with that of the ‘word’ or mouth that stands for law that to this day makes a Jewish wife her husband’s property http://www.al-islam.org/women-islam-versus-women-judaeo-christian-tradition-myth-reality-sherif-muhammad-abdel-azeem/wifes .

 

As I reread some of the books that have been standing on my shelves for many years, coincidence reconnected me with Paul Virilio’s thin book called “A Landscape of Events” and the observation, to paraphrase, that ‘android’ beings are not a new invention, when he states that the word ‘man’ according to Michael Foucault is:

 

“only a recent invention, a figure not yet two centuries old….”, who (Virilio): “…through the infallible mechanisms of applied science, … would take place of God, thus completing the religious parody of the Incarnation.”

 

This Incarnation, now a product of a ‘humanist’ brain, has—little by little—been destroying our planet’s environment, even as it propounds itself good and generous and on occasion even as ‘green’.

 

What I have been saying is, without any of the baggage that comes with being a Professor or even an ‘expert’, but simply on the basis of believing that I can think, that this process began a lot further back than two hundred years, but has its roots in the time when some men began to think of themselves as more equal than others. I trace these ‘men’ back to the Vikings, who as herders (?avenks) of reindeer had driven their herds into a cul-de-sac of Scandinavia, and came winter viked (check epistemology) south from the north by the shortest route: by boat across the Baltic Sea (it sometimes froze over, sometimes did not) to the main continent, then drifted by boat or raft to the Black Sea and made the lands on the way and there their objects of plunder.

 

If until that time most of humankind lived in the wood or such natural surroundings as Nature offered (caves, plains, lake and river shores and deltas) and most did not move more than five or ten miles from their homes, their sedentary style of life made them also sentient, that is, they identified with the trees and mountains and rivers which grew or were located close to their homes. If at that time there were any cities, say Bizantium, then it was a city in a ‘dream scape’. This dream scape was projected in what today we know as the fairy tale.

 

If—as I wrote in the previous blog—princes up to that time had their way with the maidens of their subjects, and sex did not yet necessarily mean contact of sexual organs (but for the prince), but the ‘hero’ was rewarded for his bravery in battle by having a pretty maid ‘pull him off’ into a handkerchief, the Vikings introduced violence and rape.

 

The Vikings also plundered the towns and cities as were at that time. By doing so, they also popularized the city as a place where to gain wealth on the cheap. Thus, began many centuries, a millennium and more, of replacement of the countryside (wood and dale) with the city, and the introduction of an urban life style.

 

And when the descendants of the Vikings were finally kicked out of the area of the Black Sea, and found their way back to where they had come from (more or less) the northwest of Europe, it was not long before they contrived a way to fight their way back to the environment that was more friendly to human habitation than the north.

 

What they did was, they changed the sentient http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentience  ‘religion’ of the people of the countryside (the wood and dale) into a ‘religion’ where taxation of the populace by the more equals was considered the norm. This is the time when ‘religious wars’ began and continue until our own time as ‘economic wars’. Of course, at the beginning of the wars, the economic reasons were hid (as they are today) behind audacious lies: my God is more just than your God and like (I am more democratic than you). Human beings dressed by the halo of the Sun were replaced by naked Adam and Eve who were ashamed of being sentient. The laws, made by the ‘more equal’ favored the ‘more equal’. Sometimes the fury of the sentient brought on ‘Revolutions’ that were bloody in the extreme (see Robespiere, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc.) and was doubly victimized by the ‘more equals’.

 

The fight of the ‘Vikings’ to get back ‘south’ continues, except that the ‘south’ (as yet unconquered) has expanded in a geopolitical sense. Because the West (aka Vikings) has competitors, the West has made a great effort to exclude the competitors from the territory it considers as its own. Today the West is generally though of as the U.S., plus Europe (NATO) as against not only the Middle East, but also Russia and China. The Vikings have exhausted our planet through many forms of ‘desertification’: deforestation, pollution, irradiation, overpopulation, undereducation, militarization, and on and on.

 

In any case, to get back to were I began: the renaming of things: sentient humans are now become urban humans, the two sexes have become unisexed, and the mayor of Vilnius (a city in the European East ‘liberated’ by the West) is suggesting that the names of ‘mother’ and ‘father’ be replaced by Parent One and Parent Two http://rt.com/news/lithuania-schools-parent-mother-father-375/ . And, no doubt, more wonders made up by the urbanites are to come.

Addend 12—McCain’s Crusade

“The West is a graveyard, and it blames the murder of Cain on Abel (see blog 251).”

 

Wouldn’t you know that Senator McCain, more likely thinking of himself as a prince or cardinal of the U.S., has found his way to the Ukraine http://rt.com/news/mccain-kiev-visit-protests-266/ and, no sooner done than also said (quote):

 

“’We believe that the future of Ukraine lies in Europe. We’ve met with government officials and with members of the opposition,” McCain told reporters. “I look forward to visiting the square tomorrow and I am proud of what the people of Ukraine are doing, so they can restore democracy to their country.’

During the meeting with opposition leaders - former boxing champion Vitaly Klitschko, former economy minister Arseny Yatsenyuk and far right nationalist Oleh Tyahnybog - McCain was asked for more than just moral support from the US – referring to the possible introduction of sanctions, Unian news agency reported.”

 

Let us give the ‘more than just moral support’ request by the Ukranian right wing more than a passing thought. When we introduce sanctions, in political parlance this means ‘economic sanctions’, such as, for example, the U.S. introduced against Iran http://usforeignpolicy.about.com/od/alliesenemies/a/A-History-Of-U-S-Sanctions-Against-Iran.htm  in 1981 after the Iranians took revenge over the overthrow in 1953 of the government of Mosadegh by capturing 52 Americans and holding them captive for 444 days http://www.angelfire.com/home/iran/1953coup.html.

 

Nevertheless, ‘economic sanctions’ is a two way street, because while it throws the first spear against one’s opponent, it thrusts the spare one into one’s own foot. In case the U.S. was to issue economic sanctions against the government of the Ukraine, it would as per The Economic Collapse Blog site (via ZH), an unestablishment economic advice site on the internet, argue: http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/dent-faber-celente-maloney-rogers-what-do-they-say-is-coming-in-2014 , that the spear is a barbed nail driven through the foot into an oak wood floor.

 

Since this blogger makes no bones about being an anti-urbanite, who—in the name of full employment--would prefer to see horses and horse drawn wagons instead of cars on the road, and instead of chainsaws see the reintroduction of the two-man crosscut saw https://www..lv/?gws_rd=cr&ei=FomtUvysM-n-ygPCmILQCg#q=two+man+saw+image&undefined=undefined , and fully believes that the present U.S. government is preparing a bash at the local funeral home the likes of which has never been seen [a perception that The Economic Collapse Blog (above) is likely to agree with], I would suggest that Senator McCain has pickled his brain, so that it does not work either on behalf of America as a nation or the interests of Europe, but represents a corporate ‘democracy’ of princes who have replaced (modernized) Catholicism with Globalism.

 

The “good news” is not ‘resurrected life’ and a fish for everyone in the community, but urban Amsterdam, ‘same sex marriage’ and human rights over community rights http://politika.lv/article/iespeja-cilvektiesibas-latvija-sasniegumi-un-izaicinajumi , where billionaires and millionaires are more equal than others. One expression of the latter is a belatedly popular word in the American English dictionary: affluenza https://www.google.lv/#q=affluenza&tbm=nws . It does not mean as one psychologist has it “junk science”, but junk religion all too frequently subscribed to by psychologists, who pass it to their children and presume to cure their patients by prescribing them drugs.

 

Senator McCain’s mission to the Ukraine literally turns the map upside down in more senses than one. Deriving from the word ‘kraj’ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_of_Ukraine , which is commonly interpreted to mean border, edge, but also ravine (as in Latvian krauja, a steep bank, also krava, a large pile of goods), Ukraina may derive from the sobriquet ‘uk’, perhaps meaning ‘up’ from the times when maps were drawn with the south drawn in the direction of what is drawn as the north today. This tradition of map drawing changed when the marauding Vikings, who viked south were chased back north. Later as the consonant ‘L’ became pronounced as ‘R’, re: Amsteldam, became Amsterdam; Liga became Riga; and Ukland or Uklaine became Ukraine.  The dawn of civilization in the East (remember the story about the three wise men?), too, was transferred to the West, which fact brought us the Crusades of the early Middle Ages. The Crusades, having ended in failure, are having a government instigated ‘revival’, and bring us the ‘good news’ of a ‘revolutionary’ ‘Arab spring’ by way of the CIA from America.

 

Incidentally, when the ‘spring’ came to Latvia, my home country, it was not a former boxer who met with the Americans, but former basketball players. It was their pickled brains that cost small Latvia 300,000 and more economic emigrants, due to a catastrophic collapse of the economy, still collapsing twenty-two years later. And it is the West that keeps telling us that it’s screwed up religion and history was and must continue to be ours also—on the ‘long shot’ that a lie will pay off.

Dream-time Long Lost

In the preceding blogs I tell how when the West speaks of ‘democratic’ governments it speaks of self=securitizing governments, which means that the Parliaments of these governments stand for self-interest, though they may have some diversity of personal opinion. Since most of these governments are now ready to merge in one or another kind of federated union, it means that the emergent super states are also going to be super-fascist states; re: Super Self-Securitizing Centralized Powers (SSSCP).

As readers know, I trace the beginning of this self-evident catastrophe to the flight of the Goths (formerly Vikings) from the fall of the Byzantine Empire, which they had much to do with screwing up. I hold that before the arrival of these Vandals (but another name for the Varangians and Vikings), the Byzantine Empire existed in a “dream-time”, a time which remains reflected in much neglected fairy-tales.

If anyone cares to note, fairy-tales reflect the life of humankind living deep in the forest ‘dreaming’ of some far off Kingdom where peace and fairness rules. The King of this Dream Land was most likely known by a number of names: Prester John, G(Y)enghis Khan, John The Baptist, or simply John (Yan, Han, Huan, Ian, Ivan, Johann, etc.). It is likely that this King was real, one of the founding priests of a Temple in the Forest.

Since human beings were still used to exercising the liberties offered by the environment of the wood, and, therefore, disobedient to all disciplinary directives from anyone who presumed authority, the authority in order to be obeyed had to prove itself through self-sacrifice. It was the charisma of self-sacrifice to death what impressed the unbelieving men and women of the wood and named the authority, Him-Her, the Thing, das Ding, King or Queen.

As time went by, the Temple grew, developed, and acquired wealth. The latter caused envy among certain men of the wood who may have deemed themselves Cynics or Realists. It was easier and safer to be a Realist to come raid the Temple from far away than one who was living nearby. This is how the first traitors emerged—from afar. When the men who lived in destitution in a land known as Scandinavia heard of this wealth, they went Viking (literally wading) down rivers of Europe East and West, brought ‘dream-time’ to an end, and instituted the secular kingdom. Evidence of this, if we care to look, lies in pieces of half-truths all about.

When the Vikings or Varangians wiked their way during the 8^th and 11^th centuries to the Black and Caspian seas http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4454202,00.html , and discovered Jerusalem [then Byzantium (tsargrad or koenigsberg)] certain ‘Hans’ or ‘Huns’ (or was it Johns?) attacked the Vikings from the East and forced them to retreat whence they had come. It is then that so-called Goths arrived into the area now known as the Benelux, began to fight among themselves, out of which fights emerged what we today know as the French, the English, and the Germans.

It should not be surprising that the descendants of these Goths-Anglo Saxons remembered the tales of their forebears, and once stabil in their new home land looked for a pretext to return to the southeast of Europe and attack the Huns. By then the Children of the Wood had changed their name from “cross my heart and hope to die”, Johns of the Cross (the cross meant my signature), to the Children of Johns (Yohammads). Contrary to the Catholic Church, founded by the Goths as an alternative to the religion of the East, which claims history to begin with the birth of Jesus some two thousand years ago, the actual history begins with the sacrifice of a Jesus like being, probably a version of Prester John, John the Baptist, or Ghegis Khan about the time of 11^th or 12^th centuries. If anyone wishes to discover more on the matter, I recommend Anatoly Fomenko’s, “History: Fact or Fiction”, 2^nd  vol. In other words, the Crusades began with the attempt by the French to return to Byzantium.

Today, the French, just like the Jews, are a mirror image of their former Viking and destitute selves. Let us remember Jehanne D’Ark or la Pucelle, who saved the craven secularists in the 15^th century by her self-sacrifice. Today, knowing that their nation is about to be submerged into a centralized state known as the European Union, all three nations that emerged from the Vikings are desperately looking for a way out. The French, finding themselves geographically and economically in a vulnerable position, are—like the Brits and Germans—looking for a way to escape this fate. The cycle of history--fictional history by the way--is about to repeat itself. If Jesus was crucified in 1083 or 1183, as per Anatoly Fomenko, and the First Crusade was the one that began in 1204 and ended with the sacking of Constantinople (then Jerusalem), then the French Prime Minister is fishing for another blood bath today.

24 A Function of Awe

The civil war that began round about the year 1117, when Alexius I threw Basil (according to my theses also known as Jesus or John) into the pit of fire continues to this day.

After killing Basil (and the subsequent destruction of the empire of Alexius I by the French in a “Crusade”), Basil-John’s Holy Office was removed (1305) from Constantinople to Avignon. Seventy-three years later, in order to make the priesthood in Avignon look less French, the office was moved once more, this time to Rome. The Byzantine people were not happy, but perhaps this spiritual violence was mitigated by a promise that Basil-John would sit in Rome, where western princes would surely protect him from oriental despots like Alexius I. The protection, if such was offered, proved a lie. No Pope has ever sacrificed his life as John-Basil and his retinue of Johns routinely did before secular kings put them to death. Instead, the early popes—the brothers or in-laws of kings—called (actually renamed) John Jesus and wrote a new myth about his divinity.

While today neo-Christianity is a show that entertains a dead God, western thinkers stubbornly cling to western (Scaligarian and Petavian) chronology of history. Even atheists cannot shake off this lighter than air God and remain bound to a God, they claim not to believe in.

From the very beginning of this religious civil war, which essentially polarizes people in two economic camps, the allies of Jesus have had the upper hand. It is thus that they are able to impose on the world their version of the story-history of John. Indeed, the princes invented the story about Jesus we know. At the same time, this invention is the reason why the fire pit death of Basil is practically unknown.

The civil war is at its bloodiest today, even though to one of the economic poles it may appear to be bloodless. No matter how many thousands of images of dismembered and dead men, women, and children are shown on the internet and television they are as if not seen. This is because such scenes take place far away from the viewers living inside the protected zones of the powers-that-be.

Being the apparent winner of the civil war, the successors of Alexius I (symbols of state power and righteousness) claim to speak in the name of love and peace, and let the bloodguilt fall on unnamed secularist armies (their own and that of their enemies) as though these appeared outside the bounds of western foreign policies. Worse, the oligarchs (or their like) have not only killed Basil-John and changed his name to Jesus, but have installed Jesus-Basil as the ruler of heaven, where all his energies are consumed trying to sit on air.

Perhaps the “victory” of the successors of Alexius I will be carried forward yet another thousand years. However, there are reasons to doubt this. The torn social bonds that are the price of appearing to be victor of this war have turned the populace into an army of the dumb. This is not without its corrosive effects. Unable to resist the oligarchs, the poor play a waiting game. That is, they wait for the rich and their own to exhaust the resources of our planet, because it is only after the resources are exhausted will everyone be able to let the Earth go fallow and gradually resume a normal life again.

Poets, often true, but physically weak seers, have watched—real time and their mind’s eye—ignorant armies http://tinyurl.com/qk7mqr rush to be devoured by chaos http://tinyurl.com/2lhyc4 . Brazen men with brazen promises are in leadership positions http://tinyurl.com/pdujkd . Mountaintops (bald for loss of snow and forest cover) and deserts (jumping from Africa to Europe) have replaced the ancient Johns with Apocalypse sans Jesus in real time.

Waiting still, the poets see no sacrifice charismatic enough (whether by John, Jesus, or anonymous soldiers blowing their heads off in the field) to save humankind. Governments with high decibel sugars glaze all protests.

But wait! Is it not curious that the present winners of the civil war appear to hate most “suicide terrorists”? Is it not a “suicide terrorist” one who takes not only his-her own life, but the lives of everyone around, the lives of the innocent as well as the guilty? Does not such self-sacrifice speak of utter moral depravity, which gives the ruling elite moral authority by default? Most likely this is because the powers-that-be presume such moral authority as much as the terrorists do.

At this time, the losing side, the poverty stricken and superfluous, use tactics that they have learned from the winning elite, who camouflage their violence from the eyes of the ordinary citizens by controlling the communications media. We hear of remote controlled drones killing the opposition leader, but it takes a long time for the news to reach us that along with the leader, the dead include the bride, the groom, and most of the wedding guests. http://tinyurl.com/ncgx2m . While the tactics of both sides of the civil war are roughly the same and equally brutal, it nevertheless appears that only the side of the poverty-stricken and superfluous ones, has the option to practice true self-sacrifice. At a time when the internet is replacing newspapers, radio, and television as primary media as the disseminator of news and other information, the tools are available that will record and broadcast the self-sacrificial deed and censure it and keep it anonymous. The failure to express protest by using self-sacrificial death as a tool (what John-Basil-Jesus taught), may be seeing the end of its days.

Slavoy Žižek, a Slovenian philosopher and at this time the director of the Birbeck Institute in London, approvingly cites Brecht, the German playwright. Writes Brecht (in “Baden Learning Play on Consent”): “To encourage a man for his death, the interveningly thinking one (der eingreifend Denkende) asks him to give away his goods. When the man gives away everything, what is left over is only life. Give away more, says the thinking one.” The ‘interveningly thinking one’, one assumes, is one’s own inner voice. [No doubt, the language is a bit heavy.]

Žižek then writes (“The Monstrosity of Christ”, pp 300): “This ‘give more’ is a true ethical answer to the false spirit of sacrifice: it hits the narcissistic satisfaction provided by sacrifice in the eye. Brecht’s real target here is the pathetic gesture of sacrifice….”

Nevertheless, one may object: What if sacrifice is essential, a kind of mirror of the Big Other mentioned in a previous blog, so that human kind will be reminded of itself by reminding itself to mind, which reminder is essential to the formation of a larger-than-life or virtual society?

What if with the mirror, which reflects back to one one’s true terror of death, puts the same one in awe of the (“pathetic”) sacrifice and breaks down the refusal of one’s otherwise ungovernable ego to submit to the compromise that is necessary to create a society larger than one’s immediate family and intimates?
