A Placebo’s Progress to Democracy

When the name of the Sun was changed from ‘Sonne’ (German, feminine gender) to ‘Saul’ (masculine gender) and thereby from an object adored from distance to one adored as a physically installed King (also  referred to as the ‘sun king’ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_XIV_of_France ), there began a long (‘historical’) era of barbarization of government.

It is a synchronistic element worth noting that the name ‘Louis’ in the ‘sun king’s’ name is a reference to the name ‘Ludi’, which name at the beginning of the era of government by barbarization was a name that stood for the name of the People, re: Ludi. It is doubly interesting that the era of the physical ‘sun king’ was brought to an end by the Ludi getting together and doing a Revolution==as in the French Revolution, which ended with Louis loosing his hed to a guillotine and the institutionalization of ‘Femocracy’, which, as we now see, was then and is now an impossible form of government.

It may be worth while to remind the reader of the beginning of the era of the ‘King’ as government.

I have argued that when our planet was still largely covered by wood and such plains as naturally rose from lands unfit to support a wood, most people lived either in the wood or at the edge of the wood. Since the only way to cover distance in those days was by foot, many human dwellings arose along the edges of rivers, lakes, or seas, where water facilitated a faster, if riskier, form of transportation and movement. This enhanced form of transportation, however, did not mean that all ludis’s used it, but was largely confined to males, who due to their physical characteristics were best fit for such an exercise.

The majority of ludis’s continued to live in the wood or at its edge (be it field or river). This confinement to relative immobility facilitated, in its turn, the human imagination to turn inward. For example, when the ‘rovers’ returned from a trip from a village up river with tales that somewhere at either the beginning or the end of the river, there was a site (city) nigh indescribable in magnificence, the people in situ (in place)  began to have visions of no lesser magnificence than the English poet Cooleridge had after he had smoked some opium and wrote his famous poem “Kubla Khan” (the Great John). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubla_Khan : “In Xanadu did Kubla Khan himself a stately pleasure dome decree….”

In that long ago era of Kubla Khan, the King had only an imaginary existence. His physical existence took a long time in developing, with its intermediary phase beginning with the issuance by King John at Runnymede of the Magna Carta and end phase arriving with Louis XIV of France. Nevertheless, the Chan’s imaginary existence is, in fact, the first form of human government and the ground on which the idea of God is imagined and founded.

In those days as the Sun (feminine gender), re: Heo, or possibly Eo (?El) or Io. Indeed, this reminds me of my college class in Old English, from which I now remember only one phrase: “Fæder ure þu þe eart on heofonum…” (Our Father who art in Heaven). Let us note that the word for Heaven (heo-fon-um) begins with Heo, (Sun) and ends with fon (Moon) = Heofon, and the suffix ‘um’. In effect, heaven is as yet the realm of the Sun and the Moon, while God is not yet a physical being except as my, your, our ‘father’ yet to be born.

As I have already noted (blog 448), the ‘force’ that forced the Sun=Saule to abdicate to be replaced by Saul, is the institution of the fur tax, which defined ‘force’ as the physical removal (by wripping) of an animal’s skin off its back and the removal from the Sun of its ‘shine’ to be used as a halo over the heads of a conglomeration of heads of government, who t ‘legitimized’ themselves by creating in the midst of the wood, the desert, aka the city, and in the desert of the city thinking=up (?imagining) Democracy, which replaces the feudal lords with individual rights.

Before I end this blog, it is worth remembering that Louis XIV centralized government (eliminated the feudal subset http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feudalism of rulers) and created himself as a more or less physical God. This fact, shortly brought about the Revolution, which broke down the ‘feudal’ system of nobles http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/feudalism into ‘individualist’ segments. Today we are witness to a like act of self-glorification by means of centralization and globalization by a U.S. a President sans charisma—Obama.

RE-POLARIZING GOD (5)!

Several of the threads of argument throughout these blogs have been a search for the Godhead. One of them was mentioned in the immediately preceding blogs:

1.    That since more than a thousand years ago, the seed of coercive government was planted through the institutionalization of taxation. Taxation should not be confused with gifting, which gifts were meant, for the most part, for the temple and its priesthood, the healers of body and soul.

2.    The institutionalization of taxation could not be accomplished without replacing the ‘old’ priesthood with a new and obedient one. The procedure of deinstitutionalization of old traditions is well known also today. It is called ‘regime change’, and is justified through arguments that claim that the ‘old’ regimes are authoritarian in nature, but the ‘new’ ones bring democracy. What occurs in fact is that the ‘new’ introduces a globalized fascist central government masquerading as democracy.

3.    The policy of regime change began with the replacement of the ancient temple authority, a de facto non-government, or a system where people governed themselves, and where the ‘non-government’ (consisting mostly of wandering healers) taught the people what was required to sustain self-government. This author traces this process to the Byzantine Empire and its Emperor Alexis I, who demonized and torched one such Temple authority: King John Basil under the pretext that he was a ‘heretic’ and headed a heretical ‘religion’ from a Temple known as the Temple of the Bogomils or God Lovers. Indeed there never was a ‘temple’, because the Bogomils worshipped in the wood, which they regarded as their temple.

4.    The Bogomils were in fact the first Kriste-ians, aka Children of Johns (Ians). In any event, John Basil, one of the better known Healers of the Kriste-ians, was persuaded by Emperor Alexis I to leave the wood and come to Byzantium. This was done under the pretext that Alexis was interested in John Basil’s ‘doctrine’ of self-government. When in Byzantium, the real Rome of the day, John Basil was quickly declared a heretic and arrested as an enemy of the Empire. A great pit was dug at the Hippodrome, which pit was filled with firewood, which was lit, and John Basil was made its first victim.

5.    Indeed, the Empire’s act of incinerating the Healer instituted the idea of God as an immortal presence in a Raum (German or Gothic for ‘space’, aka Roma). Whereas before this institutionalization of God, God had not existed as an ‘affirmative’ Being, because eternity was thought of in terms of reincarnation, that is to say, that the Mind itself was a kind of Godhead, an invisible soul or spirit that was not called God, because it was—to put it plainly—everywhere, and could float from body to body. This was why God is, to this day, easily imaginable as a Father figure or an “aged man, but a paltry thing, a tattered coat upon a stick, unless soul clap its hands and sing and louder sing for every tatter in its mortal dress….” (Yeats), and sing itself into an “artifice of eternity”.

6.    Once self-governance and the wood were eliminated by substituting these with a proto-capitalist King, a centralized government of a verbally asserted ‘democracy’, there necessarily arose many ideas of who God is, even though before that time, he had always been ‘an artifice of eternity’.

7.    Emperor Alexis I replaced John Basil, The Healer, who never supported the tax that was paid by slaughtering the Peoples reindeer herds for their fur, with a fictionalized Healer, whom he called Chez Jesus, aka Christ Jesus. It was to be the function of this regime change, that taxation was accepted and that God was to become a unipolar figure through Jesus.

8.    Today a Unipolar God has been made—at least in theory--the spiritual head of a globally centralized government under the aegis of Washington, D.C., Brussels, and a few other ‘chosen’ and obedient vassal cities. Washington continues the ‘crusades’ begun by the Goths, who were eventually driven from Byzantium by a rebellion of the people of the wood, assuming for themselves a new identity known as mohamedans. These Mohamedans-Muslims had been pulled together from a remnant of the people of the wood by one  Mohammed, behind which name we can easily discern the name of Yohan-med, or King John.

 

9.
It is interesting that the ‘terrorist’ adherents of Yohan-med appear not to fear death, even as their method of martyrdom leaves much to be desired—especially as it involves the death of many ‘innocent’ fools living in the desserts of capitalist cities. The short-comings of the martyr-followers of Yohan-med hinder the reversal of the contest for the authority of the God-head, but retains it in favor of post-modernist capitalism.
   

10.  The rationalization of taking the life of ‘another’, no matter how sophisticated the arguments may be, can never re-polarize Religion and reestablish it as a space in an equilibrium in which the Raum of the Wood retakes some of its lost space and resettles it with the reincarnated lives of the martyrs without the blame of innocent victims putting such a burden on their souls that they cannot rise from their graves, and remain not only half-dead and unreincarnated wanderers in the desert of the Dead, but make that desert a continuation of The Dead of The Urban Empire.

A THEOLOGICAL MONSTER

Ever since Emperor Alexis I of the Byzantine Empire (which included today’s Ukraine, Turkey, Romania, Greece, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Syria, etc.) killed John Basil I, an event that took place about twenty years before the First Crusade (~1204), the West has been peddling the world a monster God.

I described that Monster God in Esosblog 313, where Emperor Alexis I of Byzantium is replaced (? reincarnated) by an Emperor from the U.S. (2001-2009) by the name of George W. Bush.

In my example, Bush cuts a rubber ball into two halves, and then makes one of the halves serve as a whole and round ball, while he trashes the other half. It so happens that the other half stood (symbolically) for the poor man’s God.

The destruction of the poor man’s God was justified by the pseudo-scientific fact that poor people are thieves, drug peddlers, live in shanty town quarters where houses are made of cardboard and tin, and smell bad. In short, the poor man’s God is none other than the Devil himself. The ‘good’ half of the ball, made whole by the military might of the Byzantine and U.S. empires, serves all the ‘good’ people, who are wealthy and do not have to worry about living the ‘good life’ when they are old enough for retirement.

This is not to say that either the Byzantine or U.S. empires invented the God of two halves, but is a left-over from the time when human beings did not fear death because they did not believe in death. No doubt, death occurred, but nature had its own ‘living’ graveyards: the tummies of wolves, vultures, and sea gulls.

Way back when—a valid time though vague and no specific date can be given—when humans still were not quite human, but stood on the cusp of being humanoids and not yet quite human, they did not believe in either death or good or evil. As we just read: evidence of death quickly disappeared.

It was a time when these deathless creatures not quite ready yet to be full blown scientists, believed that God was a Big Ball. According to these homo ne-sapiens God was big enough to contain both good and evil.

It was a strange belief. The homo ne-sapiens visualized the God-Ball as empty as a baby’s rattle: when ne-sapiens rattled God, they heard the rattle of, both, the good and the bad and could not tell the difference between the noises of the objects (one could not tell if the ball contained one or two) inside the ball.

The early forerunners to our ‘scientific age’, which evicted our forebears from the wood, were the ‘creators’ of early forts. The forts, in turn, were early examples of our modern cities and the urban environment.

Our cities are, indeed, the creations of war. I was given this revelation by a French urban philosopher (whose parents were Italian immigrants) by the name of Paul Virilio http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Virilio . Since the French (originally known as Franks, descendants of Vikings) practically invented war, he should know.

The longer wars lasted, the more complex the forts http://www.edwebproject.org/oman-dubai/pics/nakhal.fort.jpg became. While at first, a fort was protected by a wall, later hominids replaced the wall with ‘streets’, which were a clever inversion of the wall—a replacement of a + space with a negative or minus space. In the case of the latter, the houses that stood between the streets actually were walls http://www.featurepics.com/FI/Thumb300/20111017/Dubrovnik-Old-City-2024772.jpg . An enemy who broke into, say, ancient Troy had to conquer every house between the streets and in hand-to-hand combat machinegun every residents before moving on to the next house.

One does not have to be a scientist to realize that machine-gunning every resident in every house is a long process. When homo ne-sapiens lived in the wood and could go hide behind a tree when a Viking came throwing a spear at him or hersen, then reemerge as ten hims and hersens (one from behind every tree) and puncture the would be Empire builder ten times over. Following imprisonment into apartments there was no such advantage. Every room has only four corners, and in cities these corners have no trees growing as a kind of natural protection against imprisonment, enslavement, or death.

Therefore, when death was pronounced with a capital D, it came to possess the mind and imaginations of homo ne-sapiens, who then renamed themselves as homo sapiens http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homo_sapiens .

Ever since Troy (or even earlier) homo sapiens have regarded themselves as ‘wise’ scientists. As such, we have discarded God as a device created by the poor, and began a campaign that would rename homo sapiens for ‘atheists’. Atheists believe, of course, in the ‘goodness’ of atheists and atheism.

What homo sapiens and atheists miss out on is the enjoyment of God as an undivided Big Ball, wherein ‘good’ and ‘bad’ coexist, and Death does not exist. According to homo ne-sapiens, death takes only the body, but leaves the Mind alive; and the Mind is clever enough (at least in Indonesia) to reincarnate itself every four generations in one and the same family http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catharism . The reincarnation takes care of all the ‘bad’ stuff that takes place while he or hersens were absent. True, the Tibetan monks believe that their Dalai Lama is ‘good’ enough to reincarnate himself right away and that, therefore, the world is better right away. But this is probably, because Tibetan monks do not marry, which is why any child born at the moment of a Dalai Lama’s death is potentially that same Dalai Lama.. However, the Chinese homo sapiens deny this, and pretty much act the way of the early Western Christians (among which was one St. Augustine who ‘wisely’ invented a ‘just war’) and want to eliminate Tibetan spiritual beliefs, which includes the belief that God is One Whole (undivided) Round Ball.

The moral of this story: if you cut a ball in half and then blow up one of the halves in such a way that it resembles an undivided half, you create a Monster God, Who makes perpetual war on those who believe in being Mindful of the ‘poor’ discarded other half.

I Don’t Know What to Think (1)

In Blog 154, I mention that ever since God became the 'Word' and lost his 'Act'-ive Self, human beings have become passive and the norm of human life is best described as vegetative (that includes vegees bungee jumping). The fundamental problem appears to be that the ‘Word’ (capped W) always manages to inject itself between me (if presume myself as part of the public) and whatever I want to do. This ‘Word’ generally is the word of Another, who always manages to ‘suppress’ and make my word insignificant.

I trace the phenomenon to the rise of the Catholic Christian Church and the imposition of its ‘Word’ [with the help of military violence and inquisitorial torture] on behalf of a ruling elite over a civilization that has nothing to do with theirs, but which does have the means of military might and the experience of a butcher. Of course, like with most everything, there are exceptions.

One exception is the, so called, “liberation theology”, which originated in South America. It perceived the perverse doctrine of the Mother Church with a critical eye and attempted to return the Church to God as an Act. As MIT professor Noam Chomsky explains it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPp3Hykjl6s , the critics ended up dead. Had the liberation theology Activists submitted to the American led Evangelical (Wordy) theology, they would still be talking today and waiting for rapture.

While the reasons that are said to have caused the various doctrinal divergences within the Christian Church (such as trinitarianism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Trinitarianism or Arianism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arianism , for example), the main split is between God as Act and God as Word. Today God as Word is the clear winner and controls ALL governments. All governments impose the Word on their subjects, and what the Word imposes at the most basic level is to tell the public “do not Act”, i.e., do not teach ‘liberation theology’, because it energizes the students to take remedial action. Since this split was begun by Western Christianity, it is justified in claiming to have brought the Bible (in so far as it is claimed by Western Christianity) to the world.

At the same time, it ought to be of a great wonder that near simultaneously with the ‘victory’ of Western or ‘Wordy’ Christianity comes its defeat not in the abstract, but real sense.

While the West has cast the entire planet into a crisis (economical, international relations, environmental, communal), the one with the most Revolutionary potential is that of the elite class. For the first time in its over a thousand year long history, the leadership of the world (China’s including) has been exposed as naked, moronic, murderous, unprincipled, and, therefore, unnecessary. There are many events that illustrate this.

Almost a fourth of Britons believe that Tony Blair should be arrested for war crimes; even as WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange speaking from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London http://rt.com/usa/assange-kissinger-cables-wikileaks-500/ releases the so-called ‘Project K’, which consists of 1.7 million files composed of US Department of State diplomatic communications; even as this writer presents (via these blogs) the oldest known (to this time) falsified literary document, Sophocles’ “Oedipus Rex (Rewritten)” http://oedipusrexrewritten.blogspot.com .

The literary falsification, behind which hides an attempt to release the ruling elites from responsibilities (mortal sins actually) incurred during their rule, does not come alone. As the reader knows, the New Testament, too, was written less to present the world with the teachings of Jesus, than to present a different account of what happened to the spiritual leader of Eastern Christianity, Basil (King) The Avenk, whom I present as ‘BasilTheBogomil’ in a series of blogs by that name.

Needless to say, I am aware that the reader is likely saying to him- or her-self that all these words seem confusing; one no longer knows what or whom to believe, what is or is not ‘real’ history. At the same time, this is precisely what I mean by writing (above) “a great wonder” at the coincidence of seeming Western ‘victory’ with the ‘rebirth’ of the Morning Star in the Eastern sky.

Even as the government of the United States of America is presumptuously exporting its fake democracy to fake dictatorships and is killing hundreds of thousands of people who have no idea why they are being killed, the killing done by the U.S. military is nevertheless Real and without meaning. How does one tell a young Iraqi that his-her life expectancy today is only about 30 years  http://rt.com/op-edge/iraq-environmental-catastrophe-hiroshima-533/

Regarding the subject of what is Real, but at the same time has no meaning, the philosopher Alain Badiou has a wonderfully succinct explanation.  Badiou states (‘A Conversation with Alain Badiou’, lacanian ink 23, 2004, pp. 100-1; toh to Žižek):

“The simplest definition of God and of religion lies in the idea that truth and meaning are one and the same thing. The death of God is the end of the idea that posits truth and meaning as the same thing….” To wit: truth and meaning become unglued; meaning without truth is the empty holy word of today’s Catholicism.

Given the crime committed by the U.S. government in its attempt to play God, and at the same time export to Iraq an incomprehensible and meaningless death, there necessarily arises a gut call for a Second Nuremberg War Crimes Trial http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuremberg_Trials . Given the definitive separation of ‘God’ and ‘meaning’ that has occurred between 1945 and 2013, the ostensible God (the government of the U.S.) having rendered ‘meaning’ meaningless, the criminals should not be sentenced to death by hanging as before, but each given a capsule of an extremely  powerful painkiller, they must administer to themselves to achieve an unfelt death.

The effect of such medicine may not be a reassertion of meaning, but a doubling of the reality of Real, or as philosopher Žižek puts it: “…when the impossibility of the conjunction of meaning and truth is imposed on us: either we endorse the ‘postmodern’ stance and denounce the dimension of truth… or we engage in the effort to discern a dimension of truth outside meaning—i.e… the dimension of truth as Real.”

Impossible though it may seem to some, we may discover that this ‘truth’ was well known by the forebears of our present civilization, the so-called ‘primitive’ Adam and Eve.

God Now in Government Pocket’, a Force Majeure

The scientific community has, at last, reached the point where it presents itself as a collective of The Dead, that is, as a group of people making significant salaries (as compared to taxi drivers) who have come to a wall with small holes punched in it at eye ball level. The holes are just big enough for scientists to stick their scientific noses into.

There is a small white label glued to the wall above every hole with this legend: “Behind this hole is the Higgs Boson or so-called God Particle http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story/2013/03/14/f-god-particle-higgs-boson-why-matters.html . Put your nose into the hole and twist your head clockwise! You will know you have succeeded in getting to the bottom of the Truth when you see a tomato.”

It is true that most scientists have been shy and humble about calling God God. Some do  not say the word at all. However, some have made a compromise, and have agreed to call God a “Higgs boson”, which these ‘some’ now claim to have discovered and call “a God particle”. The reader is strongly urged to read the links to be certain that I am not making anything up. Here is one of the more important paragraphs from the text  by CBC News of Friday, March 15, 2013:.

“Scientists said Thursday that they believe they have discovered the elusive Higgs boson particle, sometimes called "the God particle," that is theorized to be a crucial building block of the universe....”

There are several things worth noticing about this paragraph.

Scientists have been reluctant to call God God (because most of them do not believe that God exists), and, therefore, not to appear to the public completely ‘uncertain’ of what they believe is or is not true, they renamed God for a ‘Higgs boson’, which some have dubbed to be ‘a God particle’. Yet even with this qualification, scientists are unable to get any closer to science, because to this latest discovery, some lay scientist, a science writer, has added the word ‘elusive’.  From the same news release:

“….According to a release from the European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, determining whether the discovery was in fact the Higgs boson depends on its quantum properties and how it interacts with other particles. After going through their entire data set from 2012, the results "strongly indicate" they have found the elusive particle…. ”

Or have they?

Up to now, scientific proof was believed to be proof beyond a doubt. However, when it comes to the discovery of the Higgs Boson, all that CERN scientists will admit to is  that there is a “strong indication” that they have. Unfortunately, a “strong indication” is not something one is advised to bet on. One may not say that a nuclear bomb has been invented until it is exploded. God knows what the government will do with ‘a God particle’ in their military arsenal.

Which fact makes this reader turn into an unbeliever and believe that Higgs Boson is not a particle of God, and that God will not discover itself any more readily for scientists than it discovered itself for saints. In short, no matter how many billions of  Euros are spent on building a ‘God discovery’ machine [Large Hadron Collider (LHC)], the machine does not justify sacrificing the lives that 10 billion Euros invested in medications can save. Even if there is a “strong indication” that scientists have discovered a Higgs Boson, whatever it is they have discovered, is not God. Maybe scientists are claiming the discovery because the secular government, their sponsor, an institution continually losing authority in the public eye, is urging them to make such a claim for reasons of its own.

It would mean a theological and secular Revolution, both,  if God came in parts and particles.

My skepticisms gains some support from the secular world of the Russians. According to a write up given at the internet site of ‘RT’ (Russian Times) http://rt.com/news/higgs-boson-found-confirmed-274/ :

“Latest analysis of data from the Large Hadron Collider proves that the Higgs boson actually exists.”

In other words, for the Russian secularists (surely the Russian media is secularist) a ‘strong indication’ equals ‘proof’. The Russians see in the words of CERN physicist Joe Incandela a strong indication that he speaks as an apostle of God. Says the physicist:

“The preliminary results with the full 2012 data set are magnificent and to me it is clear that we are dealing with a Higgs boson, though we still have a long way to go to know what kind of Higgs boson it is,” said physicist Joe Incandela, the spokesperson for CERN’s Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) team.”

RT concludes: “Although it might take years for the discovery to be fully confirmed and fleshed out, one cannot expect anything more sensational from the LHC team in the coming two years, as the 27-kilometer collider has been shut down for maintenance until the early 2015.”

In short, among the things being “fleshed out” will be a government claim on God. While the God machine is located in Switzerland, a country that has played a neutral political role, so far,  the governments of the U.S., Russia, China, North Korea, Israel, and others, will claim to have the authority of God. The claim to the discovery of the Higgs boson will prove to be a scientific lie, an overreach of scientific authority, and likely a beginning of the end for science.
