CITY AND WOOD DO NOT RELATE (5 of 5)

The concerns about the warming of the climate pushed by the ‘greens’ of all shades is touching, but as we all can see—of no significance in effecting any ‘real’ changes on our planet.

The reason for this is simple, but escapes notice: people who live in an urban environment differ significantly from people who used to live in the environment of the wood or countryside farm. The processes of thinking in the two environments differ radically from one another.

While we keep hearing the urban ‘greens’ argue for a ‘better’ environment, we never hear them argue that our civilization’s ‘speedy’ ‘progress’ toward ‘negative horizon’* has to be stopped in its tracks if the environment is to be prevented from collapsing and life reduced to moth and worm.

The link below leads to environmental news from China, one of the worst polluters of our planet. That country’s leadership makes-believe that it brings us ‘good news’ by issuing a new environmental ‘law’ that may somehow curb the ‘progress’ of pollution the government achieved after the meeting of ‘Mao-Kissinger-Nixon’ in 1972.

The ‘greens’ of China, that is to say the International Confucian Ecological Alliance (ICEA) may solicit a hundred Harvard professors to invoke Confucius (and “the classic Chinese trinity of Heaven, Earth and Man”) times 24/7/365, but if they cannot think for themselves and change the word ‘man’ to ‘life’, today even Confucius becomes inconsequential; re: http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/831535.shtml#.U014dWeKA5g .

As I see it, the problem lies in making a switch from thinking communism through ‘progress’ to thinking communism through ‘autarchy’ and self-sufficiency.

This, of course, applies to all countries. The failure of the U.S. economy ought to be a shining example of what ‘progress’ as thoughtless capitalism leads to http://libertyblitzkrieg.com/2014/04/14/the-homeless-in-nyc-are-now-living-in-tiny-spaces-in-the-frame-of-the-manhattan-bridge/ .

Virilio argues that the “negative horizon” has been instituted by a State dedicated to “indefinitely perpetuating extermination”. He explains that the ‘extermination’ began with “Athenian autochthony… [and] a ceremony leading the panathenaeans up the Acropolis from the cemetery of the Kreameikos, from birth to the public death of these ‘sons of the fatherland, for whom time is annulled in the irrevocable return from the end to the origin”.**

Perhaps my criticism of Virilio is contained in the fact that I am unwilling to follow the neo-elite of our times to whatever their Acropolis. This means that I would be gripped by fear strong enough to cause me to step out of the line winding its way up-hill and run down the hill instead.

Rather, than return to the cemetery of the Kreameikos, I am hoping that I will be intercepted by the ‘deforested’ wood ‘miraculously’ resurrecting itself before my sight and step, and that with the genes of an ancient Slav in my blood, I would fall on my knees and praise God and Mother Earth.

Yes, a humankind practicing autarchy will think radically different from todays ‘best and brightest’. And, yes, such radical thinking is necessary, but will not come without an imposition of autarchic regimes the world over. Like my sudden fall on my knees, the sylvan environment necessarily encourages superstition and fearlessness before the scientific criminals from MIT, Silicon Valley, and Southern Cal and, who knows, where else.

But how are we to make this sudden transition from violent urban capitalism to a peaceful sylvan autarhy?

I believe that we must remember the old say by John (also  Jesus): “…for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword (Matthew 26:52, King James).

As I have argued in numerous blogs, the sword was first brought to autarchic civilizations of the wood by the Vikings fleeing the harsh environment of Scandinavia by the river routes provided by the Volga, Dniepr, Donau, and other. The rivers led the demoralized herders back to the regions of the Black Sea where they had originally come from. It is worth noting that upon their return the once peaceful herders (Johns) had become zhans d' armes (from Dutch), i.e. armed men taking suck of blood rather than reindeer milk.

Instead of milking reindeer, the Vikings now killed them for their fur and instituted a thousand year long Reich of taxation. And the men and women of the wood who resisted them, they raped and then killed, forcing their descendants to take up arms, and thus creating an armed civilization. They also substituted the religion of Gods and God of the people of the wood with an agod (? Godo) born of the city in the desert.

It is not a coincidence that the forces of NATO today are led by a presumptuous Dane named Rasmussen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_Fogh_Rasmussen#NATO_Secretary_General , and that this man is telling the Slavs that they are making “a historic mistake” http://www.dw.de/natos-rasmussen-warns-russia-against-historic-mistake-in-ukraine/a-17550618 by presuming the Ukraine a territory of their historical past.

It is neither Rasmussen or all the universities of the West put together that know what their history is, and that the history that they pretend is all a lie and a violence. Today history in the Ukraine acts on a psychosomatic disorder all its own.

GOD GOOD, WEALTHY & MIGHTY

 

Was it auto suggestion (a sudden and unexpected twist in some story that brought to mind something previously not thought of)?...

…Or was it some odd circumstance as occurs in the story of King Oedipus, whose mother unexpectedly turned against an ancient tradition and destroyed it (www.oedipusrex.blogspot.com), when she refuses to offer her son for a testing by the Gods over his worthiness to become the next King?... or were they men from Mars who infiltrated the ranks of ancient holy men and persuaded them that God was not the entire pie ~O~, but only a half a pie ~C~?

We do not know the answer for sure. But we do know that the fear of Death, instilled in us by a sudden and unexpected coming by way of a drone (ancient or modern), has kept us from realizing that the most important figure in our mental life, God, is made of only half a pie: ~C~. In short, somehow unbeknownst to us, half of God (a once Whole God) was done away with without us knowing about it or soon forgetting about it after it happened.

The illustration of having to live with only half a God , ~C~, is easy to make by way of a simple story.

Imagine that you are still a child, and that you and your friends have a rubber ball: ~O~. It floats in water, and you take it with you when you go swimming in the lake. An unexpected squall comes and you are called by your parents to quickly come ashore. In your hurry and anxiety, you leave the ball in the water, but no harm comes to it, because it floats even when the wind and water toss it to and fro. When the storm ends, the waves wash the ball ashore, you soon find it, and retrieve it. The ball looks much like it looked before.

When the storm is gone, you see appear as out of nowhere a strange figure, disguised to look like former President Bush turned amateur landscape painter, He stops and speaks to you: “Children, I will show you a new game.” You all gather excitedly around former President Bush, who takes from his pocket a large pair of scissors, punches with the sharpest end of it a hole in the ball, then inserts the scissors deep to the ball, and proceeds too cut the rubber ball in half.

President Bush then puts the two halves in water and says: “Look, children, I just turned the ball O into two boats: C C! Isn’t that wonderful? Aren’t you excited?”

Suddenly, another squall comes and turns the smooth surface of the lake frothy and waves begin to slosh. The two rubber boats C C are tossed about became filled with water and disappear below the surface of the lake, where underwater currents pull it among the underwater kelp.

Not surprisingly the children, begin to cry: “Bah! Bah! We want our ball back! Bah!”

Magician Bush wants to get to his painting, but—wishing only to do good—he has unexpected been confronted with a State of emergency.

A quick thinker, Bush has an idea. “ I tell you what, children,” he says: “I will paint you the ball and give you the painting as a present. You can hang the painting to the wall of your bedroom, and tell your friends that it is a picture of a ball painted by a former President of America.”

The children dance around President Bush and clap hands. However, there soon appears a problem: the two halves that have sunk into the lake are not only out of sight, but cannot be found, and there is no other ball around that the President can model from.

President Bush scratches his head, then picks up his mobile phone and calls his friend President Anwar Obam at the White House;

“Hi, Anwar!” says President Bush. “I need your help. If you can help me, I guarantee your popularity ratings will hit 80+% just as it is in Kenya.”

“Sure, George!” answers President Anwar Obam. “What can I do?”

“You see, Anwar, wishing to do moar good, I cut God in half. Instead of a round ball, God has now become two halves, like, you know, two boats. The boats filled up with water (those damn Ruskies blew up an unexpected storm) and God sank. I want to paint a picture of God for some children, but I can’t find Him. The ball of God has vanished.”

“Don’t worry, George,” answers Obam. “I will send you destroyer Truxton with some Navy seals and they will fish God out of the lake for you in no time.”

“Thanks, Anwar, you’re a mighty nice, fella,” thanks President. He then takes from his hip pocket a flask of spirits. Carrying such a flask in his hip pocket became a habit after he started to get blamed for killing half a million people in the Iraqi war.

In his heart of hearts, George of course does not blame himself for the deaths, because ever since he was a child, when he had first cut his favorite ball in half, he knows he has done nothing sinful. His father even assured him and explained that all he had done was make sure that God (the ‘good’ half of the ball) therefore served the Bush family all the better. It did not matter that the God of the poor got thrown on the rubbish heap, because—whatever it was—it was the ‘devil’s half’.

Explained Bush Senior to Junior: “Son, this is why the poor continue to be atheists and communists, and deserve to be killed be they in Indochina, Chile, Guatemala, Vietnam, or wherever. Son, just keep concentrating on how to keep Peace on Earth, and everything will be OK.

George Bush grew up to be a master in keeping planet Earth at Peace. He knew when and where to send an aircraft carrier and with timely surgical strikes deter a Total Nuclear War. After all, what are a few million deaths, when a little judicious killing by way of a ‘just war’ saves seven billion lives and there is a good chance that eventually the Earth will be populated only by oligarchs and millionaires?

Alas! The other half of the ball—the God of the Poor man—was never found. No wonder the poor have to pay the ‘good’ and ‘rich’ taxes.

 

Though we may argue that the two halves will eventually be reunited, we see that to the contrary, the ‘good half of God’ has become a city; and though moving on perpetually flat tires, taxing the poor and other commodities manages to keep the tires full, pay government officials well, and, and as the Chinese, transfer yet another 100 million hominids to the desert of its own making http://www.shanghaidaily.com/business/economy/China-plans-to-accelerate-urbanization/shdaily.shtml .

Addendum 8—1^st Post-WW4 Event

Given that in my previous post, I stated that the U.S. appears to have agreed to pull out of Europe and Asia, because though its military might may deter aggression against it, it is not strong enough, given modern weapons, to deter the destruction of its own or Europe’s infrastructure if it itself were to become the aggressor. The recent posturing by the U.S. and its allies in the Middle East gave rise to suspicions that indeed the West had chosen the aggressor’s path. This is also the reason why the sudden pull back from an outright attack on Syria and hence on Iran makes suspect that it was met with a warning by the powers native to Europe and Asia that was no less determined to prevent such an attack.

 

Not surprisingly, the U.S. change of mind not to press war (it may be interpreted to be a 2^nd version of the so-called Molotov-Ribbentrop Nonaggression Pact http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/230972/German-Soviet-Nonaggression-Pact , renamed as the Kerry-Lavrov Pact 75 years later, has upset many of its allies who had mistakenly believed that nothing could deter the U.S. from attacking if it so decided. Their mistake was to make-believe that the U.S. was not—for delusionary reasons—vulnerable. Now they know differently, which changes many things, and is cause for resetting many expectations as to the developments in the future.

 

It is not surprising; therefore, that many high officials of the U.S. and EU governments are currently in the Middle East and Eastern Europe giving reassurances. In this context, the following statement by US Defence Secretary Chuck Hegel, is interesting:

 

"Going forward, the Department of Defense will place even more emphasis on building the capacity of our partners in order to complement our strong military presence in the region." http://rt.com/news/us-mideast-iran-nuclear-hagel-878/

 

A nice try, but… it does not acknowledge the vulnerability (presumed by this author) of the country that stands behind “our strong military presence”. An admission of vulnerability, if not made in earlier times even in secret, is taken for granted today by every analyst, because time has done its levelling best to put everyone’s military hardware on a more or less equal footing. As for the “partners”, these are the six oil exporting nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Bahrain, one of the nations of said Council or Congress (aka Manama Dialogue security forum) and the host to the conference may indeed buy additional military equipment from the U.S. military industrial complex. However, the same reasons why the U.S. paid attention to Russian cautioning are also operative with regard to Bahrain. As the readers who may be sceptical with regard to this writer’s reasoning know best: We will believe only if we witness a demonstration of the ‘truth’; that is to say, a demonstration is pending and awaiting its day. All this writer can say to this is: We will see: after all, the predecessor to the suspected Kerry-Lavrov Pact is infamous for soon being betrayed.

 

Indeed, with the U.S. shifting “… its military attention, not to mention the bulk of its assets, to Asia,” as the RT article states, and because the secret agreement between Russia (and China) and the U.S. has not been officially announced, a demonstration may be an event one or all of six nations may expect to be the guinea pigs for. Just what form and shape a demonstration will take is for military experts to decide, but this author has always been impressed with the ability by some nuclear weapons to cause surges of electromagnetic pulse that may target a nation’s electric systems http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_electromagnetic_pulse , knocking out unprotected power grids. If such weapons may emit a directed  pulse, the demonstration may be a ‘test’ that deliberately ‘goes wrong’ yet provides the ‘proof’ for those who suspect but are uncertain of the existence of a secret treaty. Who will risk the prolonged (it may be years) recovery of one’s infrastructure?

 

The statements by Chuck Hegel are well within the bounds of face saving posturing—if such posturing is part of the agreement “with Iran”. It hurts no one if the cat scrapes the sand in his box obsessively: “We have deployed our most advanced fighter aircraft throughout the region, including F-22s, to ensure that we can quickly respond to contingencies,” he [the cat] said. “Coupled with our unique munitions, no target is beyond our reach.”

 

What the response of the F-22s may be to a ‘contingency’ that blows all the fuses and burns the electrical wiring of Saudi Arabia and Israel will be is unknown, but we may guess: nothing special, except for the panic in the offices of government historians that the first and last shot of WW4 went as unnoticed as the nonaggression pact proves itself (this time) to be trustworthy.

 

Still, we may expect that the Great Powers, knowing that a ‘test’ (just as a military manoeuvre) may metamorphose into the ‘real’ thing, will be watching events closely and tensely. The U.S. Defense Secretary has already told the world that all 40 naval vessels that were transferred to the Middle East are spending their time criss-crossing he Hormuz Straight and other bodies of water; while Russia advises the news media that it is withdrawing its naval fleet, even as everyone knows that ‘withdrawal’ is an ancient battle tactic; even as China, with its planned futuristic military base on the moon not yet ready http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/2013/12/06/13/32/china-to-turn-moon-into-death-star , has  satellites or ‘death stars’ armed with missiles circling the globe for sure.

Addendum 7—WW4

In my blog 240/ “Addendum 3—Ecce Russia!” I ventured to suggest that Russia’s President Putin recently issued an ultimatum to the United States, re: stay out of Syria and Iran or else….

By all appearances the U.S. heard the message and desisted. How else is one to explain the sudden deflation of the war rhetoric, and the sudden unhappiness of Saudi Arabia and Israel, the two major hawks of war, both appearing disappointed  and threatening who knows what unilateral actions of their own.

If one listens the article contributed by Thierry Meyssan “The Abdication of Iran” at Voltairnet.com http://www.voltairenet.org/en one is led to think that the price of peace was that Iran was coerced into submission by the U.S. and Russia, both. Nevertheless, the events may have been more complex that that, because at the same time, not only did Russia stop the West from thrusting a spear into its own belly, but compromised the interests of Iran in such a way that, though it was needed to persuade the country to submit to certain U.S. demands, it was able to pull Iran back into its sphere of influence. That is to say, if Iran abdicated to the West, it could not do so without the acquiescence of Russia. Yet why would Russia acquiesce to the abdication of Iran to the West?

The answer is to be found in the fact, that it itself was put under threats by the west, especially by being surrounded by missile batteries ostensibly directed at Iran, but actually directed at Russia. Given this situation, Russia had no alternative but force the West to show its hand. Instead of a royal flush, all America held was a pair of aces, which was not enough of a trump to prevent, in case of a war, the infrastructure of its power lines from being knocked out, which would reduce the activities of it as a country to a standstill. In other words, all things considered, the West decided that it will not fight a war that leads to Armageddon.

This result is apparently understood by a broad circle of geopolitical strategists. For example, just a few days ago: a) NATO issued a statement that its forces will not stay in Afghanistan if the U.S. forces do not stay. I.E., Europe has no intention to confront either the Russian or Chinese military forces on its own; b) President Karzai of Afghanistan gave the U.S. something of an ultimatum of his own: no more drones, which suggest that Karzai is onto the fact that as a consequence of Putin’s challenge echoes are heard also in the East. If the West will not fight WW3 with Russia, why should it fight it with China? c) Europe and NATO issued an announcement that its forces will not remain in Afghanistan beyond 2014 if Afghanistan does not permit the U.S. forces to stay in its country http://www.nation.com.pk/national/04-Dec-2013/karzai-failure-to-sign-pact-would-end-mission-nato ; d) it did not take long for China to announce that http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-25062525 it extended its air defense zone over East China Sea; and it was not many more days before it sent its only aircraft carrier through the Taiwan Straights. e) The Defense Department of the U.S. itself has issued an announcement that in five years time the military expenses would be reduced by 100 billion dollards. In other words, though unacknowledged by the Western Media, the news is going around that consumer economics has brought our planet to such a point that WW3 is at a practicalend and deterrence prevents WW4 from being fought.

As readers will know, it is my belief that WW2 and WW3 occurred within the brackets {[( )]} of WW1, which began a little more than a thousand years ago when the Goths (formerly Vikings) were forced out of the Black Sea area and reestablished themselves in the northwest of Europe, then began a prolonged war to recapture the East it had been forced to leave. The early wars of WW1&2 began as the Crusades. The last wars of WW3 are known as Wars of Arab Awakening or ‘Democracy Crusades’. These last of these wars centered on Syria with an aim to seize one of the flanks of Iran, then take advantage of the strategic location to make further inroads against the East. In short, by Russia calling the West’s bluff, WW1, WW2, and WW3 may now be considered as ended; and WW4 (unless…*) has been averted.

The short circuiting of WW4 brings to an end a major geopolitical threat waged against our planet by the West. It removes, once and for all, the U.S. sphere of influence from Europe and Asia, and returns these continents to the influence of Russia and China. The loss of these continents to the U.S. is acknowledged at this very time by the trip of the U.S. Vice-President Biden to China http://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/12/05/21769284-biden-i-was-very-direct-with-china-president-over-air-defense-zone. No doubt, none of this could have happened without previous and secret agreements between the Russians and the Chinese as to the power arrangement over the area of their two adjoining continents.

Though military posturing may continue for some time http://rt.com/news/us-mideast-iran-nuclear-hagel-878/, we should expect significant changes in the tactics of European and Far East Asian countries. A notable event has already occurred when Ukraine chose to remain within the economic zone of Russia. Similar realignments of position are likely to occur in Moldova, the Baltic countries, and the German-Russian economic cooperation is likely to be renewed. Though the public may be puzzled over these changes, it can be brought to an understanding through the long overdue revelations about Europe’s ‘hidden’ history. This writers ‘rewrite’ of Oedipus Rex, re “Oedipus Rex Rewritten” may play a role in it, as its redacted ‘modern’ version is clearly designed to abolish the death penalty for the highest government officials of the West.

While it is too early to predict how these changes will revise the map http://htekidsnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/World-Map-1.gif , we may venture a guess: 1) Russia will draw its borders along a line that begins at Vladivastok, moves west across northern China, then curves down the eastern border of Afghanistan, then curves west again along the Arabian Sea, Persian Gulf, Iraq, on to the Mediterranean, then along the eastern borders of Egypt, Sudan, then the southern borders of Chad and Cameron, to the Atlantic Ocean, and then in a broad curve that moves north and embraces Europe to Russia’s own part of the Arctic Circle. China, for its part, may include in its sphere everything to its immediate east and south as far as and including Indonesia and Australia, and may include Madagascar and the southern half of Africa. As to the continent of South America, it may be left for the future to decide whether it attaches to the North American continent or prefers to retain its links with Europe.

* Saudi Arabia and Israel are two countries which find this realignment onerous to say the least, which is reason to be wary that they may instigate an incident that, they hope, may lead to broader conflict.

Hong Kong-Riga axis: the first a part of China on the Europe-Asia south east end, while Riga is on the north-west end of the two continents that dominate the largest remnant of the huge landmass once called Pangaea. If one draws a straight line between the two cities, one transects Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, located perfectly in between.

This observer has been arguing for some time that the present capital of Europe, Brussels, has outlived its usefulness, for the simple reason that the business activity of Europe has moved eastward, from England and France to Germany—an eventuality that two world wars tried to prevent. At this time, no one questions the claims of Hong Kong, though by comparison Riga seems a small provincial city. But is this likely to remain so into the future?

Of course, the plans to make it so go ahead:  http://rt.com/op-edge/eu-us-pact-devastating-566/ But it need not.

If the leading nation of Europe in the future is Germany—as many signs cause one to believe—then Riga, arguably the city which Germans once may have planned to make their capital (see blog 228)—may soon revive. True, unlike in the past, Germany is no longer directly linked with Latvia by way of Prussia, what with Poland, Lithuania, and Russia occupying the middle distance http://www.harveypowers.com/eller/Kaliningrad_map.jpg ; but then Canada separates the mainland of the U.S. from Alaska, and that does not stop Alaskans from being Americans. Given the sell-out of Latvia by the current government of Latvia to Brussels and little good coming of it for Latvians, it is likely that Germany would find most Latvians ripe for the picking.

There is not only TAFTA, but some other geopolitical arguments, which insist that it is not Riga, but Russian Konigsberg that should take the prize of the dominant city in the area. But given the unhappy experience of Latvians with the Soviet Union in the not long ago, and the propaganda barrage against Russia by the Latvian government during the past twenty-one years, the people will feel safer and be less reluctant to consider their future if it comes to them with Germany as mediator. As for the Germans, they can choose TAFTA or an independent course.

The reason for this potentially sudden turn-about in the fortunes of Riga is not Riga of itself or Germany, but the fact that Riga is perfectly situated for a German-Russian relationship and has a similar past relationship to relate to. Moreover, the foreign policy direction of the Latvian government for the past twenty years plus has been a disaster when it comes to hewing a direction that can be considered as promising. Indeed, most Latvians are only superficially aware that there is such an institution as the Foreign Ministry. For the most part, the FM has been an arm of Brussels and/or NATO, which has no interest in the Baltics except as a frontier that abuts Russia it considers its potential enemy.

Russia has for a long time faced serious problems vis a vis NATO, which does not have economic well-being of Europe as its major interest, but subordination of Russia as its chief aim. As Zbigniev Brzinski wrote in his book, “The Grand Chesboard”, in discussing the Ukraine and the nations belonging to the Turkic languages groups (p148): “Russia is too weak to regain imperial domination over the region or to exclude others from it, but it is also too close and too strong to be excluded.”  Brzinski recognizes that the U.S. is “…too distant to be dominant”.

The very same words can also be used with regard to the north-east region of mittelosteuropa, where the Baltic nations are located.

The great danger in the present situation in the Middle East is that instead of acting as if is “too distant to be dominant”, the U.S. by supporting the interests of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, Turkey, Kurds, and others, has appeared to want not only to dominate, but to undermine the belly of Europe-Asia (Russia-China) with a pepper plaster compress so hot that similar to Soviet Russia, the nations so embraced would expend the greater part of their wealth in armaments, which—like in the case of the Soviet Union—would cause permanent discomfort to their people. One may hope that at this time the financial and economic situation in the U.S. has somewhat corrected American aggression and will cause it to reconsider its strategy.

For the last twenty-one years, the Latvian government has favoured a similar U.S. tactic in the Baltic region. While it has no support of its people for this strategy other than their fear of a repetition of Soviet style dominance, it can be easily seen that with regard to economic policies, this strategy is not only a failure as such, but has exposed the country to existential dangers, re: economic outmigration, demographic decline, chronic under education, chronic poverty, chronic amorality at all levels of society, chronic absence of a positive self-generated culture, and this is only the beginning of the list of compacted social ills, not to mention the  suffering of the people.

A Waterless Flood I (7)

The title of this blog comes from Margaret Atwood’s novel called “MaddAddam”, a story of global disaster in the near future http://www.truthdig.com/arts_culture/item/maddaddam_20130920.

Though I have not read the novel, which on other occasions would disqualify me from making further comments, for all that this is not unusual. This is not the first time that I have met up with the problem, when a sidebar tells the reader “to see long excerpts from “MaddAddam” at Google Books, click here” ; but when I click here all I get is a short bio of the author and no ‘long excerpt’.

In short, the reader is left with this blogger’s own version of ‘a waterless flood’—words ad infinitum.

‘A Waterless Flood’  is a reference within Atwood’s book, offered to us through its reviewer, Michael Dirda, to one “… Adam One, who has long foretold the coming of a Waterless Flood that will cleanse the sordid and polluted Earth...”, (www.truthdig.com).

In any event, to return to the theme of the preceding blog: Zbigniew Brzezinski’s geopolitics as expressed in his book “The Grand Chessboard”, which example I was using to facilitate a discussion of the future of Russia.

What complicates the situation for Russia is less American geopolitical ambition, but a reawakened China making claim on the natural resources of Eurasian territories such as Kazakhstan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China%E2%80%93Kazakhstan_relations formerly subordinated to the Soviet Union. China is also said to want to lease some 6% of Ukrainian soil to grow harvests for itself. What makes China’s claim not only potentially violent, but also Revolutionary is Brzezinski’s attempts to reduce Russia and China vis-à-vis the U.S.A.—to ‘regional’ powers; which neither of them intends to be reduced to.

Interestingly, in the long term, protesting their status as ‘regional’ powers, causes the interests of Russia and China coincide. If they enter into a conflict with each other, they act in the interest of the U.S. and its European allies (military and corporate). The Revolutionary potential in the conflict of interests is for Europe, Russia, and China to radically change their geopolitical perspective (Europe, after all, too, is no more than a ‘regional’ power from Brzezinski’s perspective), and work toward integration of their political entities into a vast new geopolitical landmass called Eu-Ru-Chi http://www.livescience.com/18387-future-earth-supercontinent-amasia.html . This makes vastly better sense than a bank led geopolitical structure such as TAFTA http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-us-eu-transatlantic-free-trade-agreement-tafta-big-business-corporate-power-grab/5352885 currently in the making.

Impossible as integration of Europe and Asia may seem, it is not an impossibility.  The real obstacle to it is the imbalance of populations, the Chinese population being some six times larger than that of Russia. However, this problem can be overcome is Russia sees a way to integrate with the nations of Europe.

There may be no way around such an integration because the U.S. has military superiority many times over the military power of Russia and China combined and is implementing a strategy of surrounding Ru-Chi with military bases and missiles capable of delivering nuclear explosives. To short-circuit the military threat, Ru-Chi need to discover other means of undermining American and European military strategy. One such way is to reexamine the historical chronology concocted by both these ‘false flag’ powers. This brings us back to the Russian mathematician and historian Anatoly Fomenko http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0U7OUULZs4 .

Of course, I am not saying that the claims by Fomenko do not need to be further examined. Nevertheless, Fomenko’s research leaves little doubt that the chronology of history as presented to us by the academies of the West need reanalysis, which is likely to bring about a historical scandal, a reset of chronology, and a likely rearrangement of sequence of events.

If as this writer suspects, the chronology of history is closer to Fomenko’s proposals than that of the Council of Trent (1545-1563) and the Catholic Church,  the nationalisms brought into being by Enlightenment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Enlightenment (an unwelcome and unintended consequence) and communal loyalties centered on language, may be replaced by loyalties to the the organic environment, which is in a state of collapse at this time.

While resistance to Christianity borne of (or  begot by) capitalism is as old as neo-Christianity itself, it almost ceased during the 20^th century, when (paradoxically) many rebellious authors produced a number of books that hinted that the history of Christianity as presented in Western Universities was not quite up to standards and, thus, not quite up to correct answers.

This writer was among the avid readers of these books, beginning with Albert Schweitzer’s “The Quest of the Historical Jesus” and the more recent by Bart Ehrman, “Lost Christianities”.

What is wrong with most accounts about Jesus is that ll follow the same chronological outline as presented by the Catholic Church, which to this day claims to be the Mother of all Christian orientations http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_Church .

Among the first challenges to affect the Catholic origins theory is the Russian mathematician turned historian Anatoly Fomenko. Though not the very first critic (Isaac Newton—17^th cen.—was earlier), Fomenko’s criticism is well researched and lengthy. He is one of the latest doubters of the veracity of history as presented by the academicians of the West, who indeed never outgrew Catholic scholasticism and to this day mirror its prejudices. Though academicians haughtily ignore Fomenko (because as a Russian he is believed to think in reverse gear), refusing to listen to him evidences arrogance and colonialist chutzpah that has not yet been outgrown.  Like it or not, Fomenko has shaken the West’s identity and its version of history.

I presented a brief summary of how we arrived to the false flags that fly over Western government buildings today. A couple of blogs back (218), I wrote how the Franks (some will say it was the Goths) turned themselves into the French, took control of the West and then turned on the East whence they had come. [Nevertheless, some claim they came from the north and across the Baltic Sea and were known as Scandze—instead of Vikings.) The real story, as it has imprinted itself in this writer’s mind, went something like this:

To this day every European is taught to know these Eastern Franks as the founders of the Holy Roman Empire, a realm never yet real, but continuing to exist in the fantasy of European politicians as the European Union. Following the dictates of Western educational institutions, the common belief is that the Holy Empire was founded by a Pope in Rome. But the real history is that there never was a ‘Western’ Holy Roman Empire, and even the idea of it was stolen from the actual Holy Roman Empire in the East, with its headquarters, at first, in Alexandria (remember the Coptic Church?), Egypt, moving on to Constantinople, Byzantine, when a Byzantine (true Roman) ‘Caesar’ met Phara-jones Cleopatra and took her on a Med cruise to better bed her. The transfer of the ancient capital cities from the South to the North Mediterranean began with a dalliance.

While the dalliance between Alexandria and Byzantium makes sense, the Holywood concoction of dalliance between Rome, Italy, and Egypt does not make sense, because according to Fomenko (at least) Western Rome never got going until the 15^th century of the Western Era.

Because Fomenko is no lightweight historian, but a member of the Academy of Sciences in Moscow, I suggest that the Russian government (with international assistance from China, India, Iran, and others with a stake in the truth) support and finance renewed research of the chronology of history. Whether led by Fomenko or another scholar, it is time that the comedy we are presented with does not turn into a greater tragedy than it already has brought. We need to discover either the true chronology of our history or learn to live with history as an uncertainty, in knowledge that our cynicism is not of our making, but a mark of Cain stamped on our foreheads by our governments. The West is in profound need to reexamine its past, its claims of achievement, and presumption to determine our planet’s future.

A reexamination is important because the current version of history is used by the West as a political tool. Its claim insists not only on the right to the territories the West occupies (and expands on yet again at the expense of the East), but also declares the West to possess ‘the right’ kind of character suitable to possess our planet. On the basis of these claims, the West has not shirked to employ ‘terrorists’ to capitalist ends. Having despoiled its own spiritual heritage, the West today has turned to despoiling Islam by taking advantage of the jealousies of Muslims, who are unable to deal the West a deserved comeuppance.

The corner the East is backed in today is a consequence of the False Flag history presented by the ruthlessness of the liberal West, even as it imitated the ruthlessness of one Emperor Alexis I, who destroyed Eastern Christianity with one push that cost its spiritual leader his life. That push is a story all by itself, now well camouflaged behind the Aztec story of Nanauatzin’s http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanahuatzin (image: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8214/8343920314_90031212ec_z.jpg ) heroic leap into a fiery pit at the sacred city of Tenochtitlan in Mexico. This story cannot be found in historical accounts in the East or West, but Book 7 of the Florentine Codex http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florentine_Codex  recorded by Bernardino de Sahagun a Franciscan monk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernardino_de_Sahag%C3%BAn . Sensational, as such a replacement of a historical event in EuroAsia of the East may be, it is unlikely that it is mere happenstance that Sahagun was a Franciscan monk and the place to tell the truth happens is transferred to a newly discovered continent. What Sahagun reflects is an event in Constantinople affecting the Bogomils several centuries before the defeat and neo-Christianization of the Mexican people http://www.cathar.info/121212_comnena.htm .

Such juxtapositions of events is an ‘old’ tool employed by schemers sequestered in ‘think tanks’ in the West, and is employed to this day, because Common Man simply cannot imagine such dishonesty as the basis of history.

The reason the East has come to a desperate situation is that up to this time, there always was another step and a space to retreat to. This allowed the West to expand not only as colonizer of Eastern territories, but when colonization as such stopped, was able continue to short circuit economic exploitation by means of technology over Nature, not to mention make the Vatican a dictator over the chronology of history. Strange as it may seem, a major tool in the hands of the West is an ‘Early Christianity’, which  today we know as Islam, and which almost no one believes has its origins in Christianity. For the cultures of the East (that of Russia, China, Iran, India) to regain their ground vis a vis the West and to neuter the ‘terrorists’, these have to respond to Western cynicism less with arms than with reeducation undermining of its intellectual presumptions.
