Addendum 2—Putin’s Misidentity

While I have the greatest respect for the difficulties that beset post-Soviet Russia in its efforts to make an economic recovery, and have generally perceived Russian President Vladimir Putin’s (b. 1952) http://eng.putin.kremlin.ru/bio efforts in this perspective, I remain skeptical of the direction Putin is taking.

One of the reasons for my skepticism about Vladimir’s leadership is not because I suspect him of dishonesty and lack of transparency, but—as readily noticeable in the above link—his obvious identifying of himself as an urbanite. True, his parents, identified themselves not only with St. Petersburg, but also with Pominovo, a village in the Tver Region, where Vladimir’s grandmother came from. Nevertheless, this is Putin’s family history, not a matter of personal experience.

The reason, why I emphasize Vladimir’s lack of experience with the Russian countryside is that while I was also born in an urban setting, the Soviet occupation of Latvia (1939) forced my family a year later to seek refuge and survival in the countryside, which is why at the age of seven, I became a country boy. At that age, I was still young enough to switch identities. That I identified with the city, at first, is evidenced by the fact that as a ‘city’ boy, I picked a fight at elementary school with a country boy, and paid for it with a broken front tooth. It introduced me to having new respect for the people who were dominant in my new environment.

More than seventy years later, I hold my ability to identify with the countryside as an essential ingredient for my geopolitical and economic orientation with regard to the future. My distancing from the urbanite set began early, at about the age twelve thirteen, when in Displaced Persons camps, I discovered that all the patriots of Latvia there were Latvian urbanites, mostly from Riga—even if they were born in the Latvian countryside. The latter can be ascribed to the fact that in those days the movement of countryside people to the more promising urban setting ended in Riga (up to the time of independence—1918) a German city. Of course, today a similar movement to an urbanite setting uses Riga as a city of transit only. Riga itself is dramatically losing population, down from about a million inhabitants to slightly over 600,000.

So, alright. What makes the countryside so important for the future, and what does it have to do with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin?

Briefly this: While the movement of people from the countryside to the city was already notable in Latvia in the 1920s and 30s, emigration as such had no yet reached popular levels. Such took place for the most part only within the context of religious belief; for example, many Baptists moved from Latvia to America and South America, because not only were many from the countryside, where the economic conditions were less promising for the future than in the city, but because religious discrimination by then dominant Lutheran Church was demeaning of personal achievement simply because of one’s religious affiliation. Incidentally, this same religious intolerance forced my grandfather (a descendant of Herrnhuters, now said to have morphed into the Moravian Church) to leave the countryside for Riga and almost never speak of religion. The way that I know of his religious affiliation with so-called dualist theology is that one of his sayings, passed down by an oral tradition, was—when urged not to work late at the office: “Don’’t worry about me, worry about my Devil.” Evidently, for him, the Devil was not a theological reality, but personal energy. Interestingly, that same saying has survived in America http://www.thefreedictionary.com/like+the+devil , re: “Work like the Devil.” Later Catholic Christian orthodoxy changed this to: “Work like the Devil for the Lord.”

When I am arguing that President Putin may not be the man to save Russia from the attacks of the West, I base my doubts on such small differences or what French historians call longue durée (long term) influences on history. That is to say, in the present economic setting, where the economy of the future is explained by the media and politicians to the public as more of the same as in the last hundred years http://www.bbc.com/autos/story/20131125-rebuilding-the-future , moreover, in an increasingly urban setting, is likely himself suffering from the longue durée cultural virus in that he has no idea of country life and that it suffered a Stalinist like repression from a modernist movement known as urbanism.

It is worth while mentioning in this context that Pope Francis and the Vatican (an urban site since the 15^th century) have just identified capitalism (largely to be identified with urbanism) as tyranny http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-25102720 . Of course, the Pope may have made the statement because of Israel, which (according to an article at voltairnet http://www.voltairenet.org/article181169.html claims: “It [Iran and its former President Ahmadinejad] feined “ignorance about the direction of the conference [planned to be held in Iran], which was to show that Europeans had replaced their Christian culture with the religion of the Holocaust.) Not surprisingly, Pope Francis may agree; well knowing that it was the Franks and the French who established the Vatican to try a hand at reestablishing the Holy Roman Empire of the East (Jerusalem cum Constantinople) in the West.

The reason to read  up on the Dayton Accord regarding the deliberate dismemberment by the ‘West’ of former Yugoslavia is that that failure directly reflects on the current agreement with Iran and beyond http://original.antiwar.com/malic/2013/11/22/an-unlikely-peace/

I am no fan of the Zionists of Israel, especially not their PM Netanyahu, and see their role as a mirror image of the Muslims in Bosnia, a position that for eighteen long years (as the link argues) has fanned hatred (a la the late “Muslim leader Alija Izetbegovic who reneged on the agreement reached in Lisbon, reportedly at the urging of the American ambassador to Yugoslavia, Warren Zimmerman.”) Likewise the statements by Netanyahu who (see flwg link): “Speaking to his Cabinet, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Israel is not bound by the deal and reserves the right to defend itself. One reason why I believe Latvians have a direct interest in these treaties (contrary to our own Foreign Ministry where brains are believed to come as models in calcium) is that my paternal genes link me with Bosnia; and while my ancestors may not have arrived in Latvia (270 years ago) from Bosnia directly, but via the ‘heretical’ Herrnhuters from Germany, it causes me to take a ‘sovereign’ perspective of Latvian interests.

A short digression: in the 15th century Bosnia was a haven for the Cathars (Ķeceri according to Latvian Catholic derived theology) or ‘heretical’ or early (not yet usurped) Christians of Europe. Interesting evidence of this may be found in my great-great grandfather’s first name, re Gusts, which is likely submerged and out of sight evidence of what was once the highest Office among the Cathars, re gost. Preceding the ‘gost’ were two other identities, re: Krstjan (source of the name ‘Christian’? and Latvian Krišjānis) and Starac (Latvian ‘starasts’, aka ‘star-east’). Now my grand-grandfather did not identify himself as ‘vagars’, re slave driver (but ‘starasts’ or leader of a community; while owner of an inn, he also held regular Sunday religious services there); while my grandfather was a school teacher (later a newspaper editor) and at one dime the choir master of all the choirs in the Vidzeme region.

A major reason this ought to be of interest to other Latvians is because the Herrnhuters (like the Cathars) did not believe in introducing a middleman (a priest) between the individual and God; and because they are credited with rebuilding the Latvian community after the Great Northern War (Sweden vs Russia) at the beginning of the 18th century. The Herrnhuter position of maintaining a sovereign perspective cost them their due, because both the Catholic and Protestant churches inserted the priest-minister-policeman between the people and the State and essentially denied the Herrnhuter perspective. The latter calamity has permitted the current State leadership of Latvia to become ‘vagars’ (no longer identified with ‘slave driving’, but with ‘do nothing’ that helps escape the reputation of dependency on the State) to the Latvian community vis a vis Brussels, which, in the final analysis, means the denial of sovereignty or special identity for Latvians.

One further argument in support of Latvians as former Cathars: The Cathars came to their Christianity long before it was usurped by Catholicism (i.e. early globalization efforts); evidence for this is that the Cathar cross reflects the rays of the Sun (simplified to four beams). I find it amazing that a former prezident (VVF) of ‘renewed’ Latvia has researched and written so extensively about the reflection of the Sun in Latvian folk poems, without once making the connection that it was the Ķeceri who are responsible for maintaining this symbolism in Latvian folk culture. Perhaps the reason is that she spent early childhood in France and Algeria, where the persecution of Cathars began.

What a title horriblis! It spells ‘Kursk’ backward. I beg the reader’s forgiveness; it is meant to show just how screwed up things have become. Latvia, like it or not, represents the enemy on the salient’s left flank.

While the Latvian government hopes that in the event of WW3 NATO will send its armed forces to defend it on its northern flank, most everyone in Latvia knows that a Russian attack is not imminent except for deliberate provocation of anxiety by the Latvian government, a descendant of the Soviet communist apparatchiks, whose majority fear being short-circuited and having to suffer the consequences of their surrender of the Latvian nation to the combined interests of Western powers—all the while blaming the Russians.

In spite of such propaganda tactics working on its own population, it is likely that the Western powers, with Germany in the lead, know of the economic abyss and difference of identification that prevails between the Latvian government and its people. If cooperation with the Russians may not be in the interest of the NATO cabal as a whole, it is not in the interest of the Germans (though it may be in the interest of the Scandinavians and the Latvian government may be counting on it) to join any military type NATO interference in the Baltics. As far as the interests of Germany are concerned, it need not fear that Russia is anxious to engage it in another bloody conflict, when between the Germans and Russians there exists a tradition, despite the nightmare of Hitler, of economic cooperation many hundred years old.

The real threat to peace today is a consequence of U.S. President Harry S. Truman’s support of Israel in the Middle East against the interest of the Arabs, the people indigenous to the Middle East. The threat comes not from the people of Israel as such, but is the result of nearly a half a century of expansionism and repression of Arab interests by a Zionist government, which has been attempting to establish itself in the image of an eternal government of the Israeli people. Some success of its internal policies are attributable to the fact that through Zionism Israel provides direct religious support for capitalism as an everlasting economic order.

In short, a major source of the tensions in the world today arises from the government of Israel; and it is the Middle East or the right flank of the Krsuk salient of the Zionists (rather than eager Latvian. Ukrainian, and Georgian former communist apparatchiks) that threatens world peace.

Even as world leaders are meeting in Geneva to try to forge a nuclear treaty between Iran and the rest of the world http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-24877014 , the Israeli leader Netanyahu said (see link) that he "utterly rejected" such a deal with Iran, and that his country would not be obliged to abide by it. Defense analysts have speculated the Israelis may take military action to disrupt Iran's program.

In short, seeing their long-term goals dismantled by a treaty of peace, the Zionist government and its allies are likely to seek a casus belli to once again set it back on track.

If by some miracle, however, no casus belli is triggered, the change would be no less dramatic than an earthquake measuring nine on the Richter scale. Many years of negative precedents would begin to be overturned; not least the gradual adaptation of Israel to a culture that must live within its means, and a refusal of the Israeli people to follow the aggressive Zionist government.

Unfortunately, the casus belli is likely on order and should be in the news relatively shortly.

When we think of all the potential for catastrophes, we realize that it is not only casus belli that is a threat, but that life on our planet is faced with a whole series of causa morti or gifts of death. Next to

6) winters without heating or engine fuel, because the war is likely to destroy the infrastructure of modern society;

7) the stink of corpses emanating from all cities;

8)  not to mention soylent meat (the last capitalist enterprise) at low prices from assisted suicides by de facto legalization of narcotics;

9) instantly worthless money.

This series attempts to put the present events in the context of the Battle of Kursk (1943) in the Soviet Union, the loss of which by Hitler brought the Soviet Army into Latvia within a year. The preparations for that event went on for a long time. The events in the Middle East are brewing even longer. The pressure valves on the kettle are whistling loudly.

While resistance to Christianity borne of (or  begot by) capitalism is as old as neo-Christianity itself, it almost ceased during the 20^th century, when (paradoxically) many rebellious authors produced a number of books that hinted that the history of Christianity as presented in Western Universities was not quite up to standards and, thus, not quite up to correct answers.

This writer was among the avid readers of these books, beginning with Albert Schweitzer’s “The Quest of the Historical Jesus” and the more recent by Bart Ehrman, “Lost Christianities”.

What is wrong with most accounts about Jesus is that ll follow the same chronological outline as presented by the Catholic Church, which to this day claims to be the Mother of all Christian orientations http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_Church .

Among the first challenges to affect the Catholic origins theory is the Russian mathematician turned historian Anatoly Fomenko. Though not the very first critic (Isaac Newton—17^th cen.—was earlier), Fomenko’s criticism is well researched and lengthy. He is one of the latest doubters of the veracity of history as presented by the academicians of the West, who indeed never outgrew Catholic scholasticism and to this day mirror its prejudices. Though academicians haughtily ignore Fomenko (because as a Russian he is believed to think in reverse gear), refusing to listen to him evidences arrogance and colonialist chutzpah that has not yet been outgrown.  Like it or not, Fomenko has shaken the West’s identity and its version of history.

I presented a brief summary of how we arrived to the false flags that fly over Western government buildings today. A couple of blogs back (218), I wrote how the Franks (some will say it was the Goths) turned themselves into the French, took control of the West and then turned on the East whence they had come. [Nevertheless, some claim they came from the north and across the Baltic Sea and were known as Scandze—instead of Vikings.) The real story, as it has imprinted itself in this writer’s mind, went something like this:

After being chased from Byzantium by the Turks and settling in Europe in an area now known as the Benelux countries, the Franks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br_70Kbdpow , in order to set themselves apart from the Christians in the East, set about creating a new Christianity. To this day every European is taught to know these Eastern Franks as the founders of the Holy Roman Empire, a realm never yet real, but continuing to exist in the fantasy of European politicians as the European Union. Following the dictates of Western educational institutions, the common belief is that the Holy Empire was founded by a Pope in Rome. But the real history is that there never was a ‘Western’ Holy Roman Empire, and even the idea of it was stolen from the actual Holy Roman Empire in the East, with its headquarters, at first, in Alexandria (remember the Coptic Church?), Egypt, moving on to Constantinople, Byzantine, when a Byzantine (true Roman) ‘Caesar’ met Phara-jones Cleopatra and took her on a Med cruise to better bed her. The transfer of the ancient capital cities from the South to the North Mediterranean began with a dalliance.

While the dalliance between Alexandria and Byzantium makes sense, the Holywood concoction of dalliance between Rome, Italy, and Egypt does not make sense, because according to Fomenko (at least) Western Rome never got going until the 15^th century of the Western Era.

Because Fomenko is no lightweight historian, but a member of the Academy of Sciences in Moscow, I suggest that the Russian government (with international assistance from China, India, Iran, and others with a stake in the truth) support and finance renewed research of the chronology of history. Whether led by Fomenko or another scholar, it is time that the comedy we are presented with does not turn into a greater tragedy than it already has brought. We need to discover either the true chronology of our history or learn to live with history as an uncertainty, in knowledge that our cynicism is not of our making, but a mark of Cain stamped on our foreheads by our governments. The West is in profound need to reexamine its past, its claims of achievement, and presumption to determine our planet’s future.

A reexamination is important because the current version of history is used by the West as a political tool. Its claim insists not only on the right to the territories the West occupies (and expands on yet again at the expense of the East), but also declares the West to possess ‘the right’ kind of character suitable to possess our planet. On the basis of these claims, the West has not shirked to employ ‘terrorists’ to capitalist ends. Having despoiled its own spiritual heritage, the West today has turned to despoiling Islam by taking advantage of the jealousies of Muslims, who are unable to deal the West a deserved comeuppance.

The corner the East is backed in today is a consequence of the False Flag history presented by the ruthlessness of the liberal West, even as it imitated the ruthlessness of one Emperor Alexis I, who destroyed Eastern Christianity with one push that cost its spiritual leader his life. That push is a story all by itself, now well camouflaged behind the Aztec story of Nanauatzin’s http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanahuatzin (image: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8214/8343920314_90031212ec_z.jpg ) heroic leap into a fiery pit at the sacred city of Tenochtitlan in Mexico. This story cannot be found in historical accounts in the East or West, but Book 7 of the Florentine Codex http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florentine_Codex  recorded by Bernardino de Sahagun a Franciscan monk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernardino_de_Sahag%C3%BAn . Sensational, as such a replacement of a historical event in EuroAsia of the East may be, it is unlikely that it is mere happenstance that Sahagun was a Franciscan monk and the place to tell the truth happens is transferred to a newly discovered continent. What Sahagun reflects is an event in Constantinople affecting the Bogomils several centuries before the defeat and neo-Christianization of the Mexican people http://www.cathar.info/121212_comnena.htm .

Such juxtapositions of events is an ‘old’ tool employed by schemers sequestered in ‘think tanks’ in the West, and is employed to this day, because Common Man simply cannot imagine such dishonesty as the basis of history.

The reason the East has come to a desperate situation is that up to this time, there always was another step and a space to retreat to. This allowed the West to expand not only as colonizer of Eastern territories, but when colonization as such stopped, was able continue to short circuit economic exploitation by means of technology over Nature, not to mention make the Vatican a dictator over the chronology of history. Strange as it may seem, a major tool in the hands of the West is an ‘Early Christianity’, which  today we know as Islam, and which almost no one believes has its origins in Christianity. For the cultures of the East (that of Russia, China, Iran, India) to regain their ground vis a vis the West and to neuter the ‘terrorists’, these have to respond to Western cynicism less with arms than with reeducation undermining of its intellectual presumptions.
