Was St. Paul St. Augustine?

In Matthew 24:14, we read: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Every Christian missionary knows this sentence, but how many have thought about what it actually means? And why should the End come when “the good news” has come to the whole world?

Is there perhaps something about “the good news” that is not as good as some claim?

If only one explanation of a text is displayed and alternative interpretations are repressed, it ought not to be surprising most missionaries leave their harbor without a compass.

We should note that preaching the ‘gospel’ has nothing to do with preaching ‘Love your neighbor’ or the Ten Commandments. By substituting these tenets, Matthew resorts to language that will fool most people not familiar with practices of the legal profession that works on behalf of wealthy clients. Apparently Matthew has read what St. Paul had to say on the Law (see blog 30 above).

If at a later time the unsophisticated innocent claims that he-she understood ‘gospel’ to mean said tenets, the attorney may insist that there is nothing in the document that supports such an understanding, and click the search button on a computer and open it to the site of The Free Dictionary and point to item One that reads “ 1…. [The Gospel is] The proclamation of the redemption preached by Jesus and the Apostles, which is the central content of Christian revelation….

Of course, this is but one interpretation of many, but the attorney will insist that his is the only correct one. Go prove him wrong. Unless you spell it out in detail, how is he or his client to know what ‘gospel’ means to you? Moreover, why did you presume you knew what it meant to the other party?

For St. Paul (see Addendum 2, EC 521) as per 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 the Gospel means, among other things, that “3…. Christ died for our sins” so we may be “saved”.

But what does “sins” mean? Are these many evil deeds or is it one done by many?

As I pointed out in Addendum 2, Paul is suspect of being a propagandist on behalf of government tax collectors, who are in the hire of an ad hoc group of princes determined to globalize their rule by setting up governments where such had never been needed before. Of course, it is not the princes, but the people who are compelled to pay for the resulting governments by paying taxes.

If such a plan seemed incomprehensible to people living one or two thousand years ago, it should not seem strange to us today, when similar flimflams are being proposed in Brussels, Washington, and Tokyo. If experiments with so called NIRP (Negative Interest Rate Percentage) rates are successful, government princes in Moscow, Beijing, and elsewhere are likely to follow the example of the West post haste.

The reader will have no problems understanding that NIRP also stands for an alternate way of collecting taxes. With no cash passing through the public’s hands, all government has to do is nationalize the banks, and, Presto!, it gets to suck a little more of our blood than heretofore, even as due to un-Christian schadenfreude the public goes ecstatic that bank presidents are forced to become salary men like everyone else.

Needless to say, NIRP has been as well thought out, as a similar program was in the days of St. Paul, who was a great supporter of secular law. Incidentally, we should not be surprised that Paul traveled not only to Rome, but visited Hippo on the shores North Africa, now Algeria, where he changed his name to Augustine* and invented the notion of original sin (click 2:20).

*According to conventional history, Paul is separated from Augustine by more than four hundred years. Hopefully the reader will remember that I reject orthodox chronology in favor of Anatoly  Fomenko’s  thesis that the chronology of Western history, founded by the Catholic Church,  is a series of self-serving lies.

Why would Augustine do that? Well, perhaps because he had changed his name once already—from Saul, the persecutor of Christians, to Paul the convert to Christianity. But what if Paul was a frumentarii, and the secret service of the Empire persuaded him to change his tactics, and persecute Christians with subtler methods?

What subtler methods? There are many possibilities. For example: by moving to another address, by being elevated to the post of bishop of Hippo, and by inventing, then preaching Original Sin as God’s way of belittling the pagans, the people of the wood.

Interestingly, St. Paul describes his own sin to have been his participation in the stoning of Stephen, a deacon of an early Christian Church responsible for distributing food to poor widows. Was Paul participating in the pogrom because as a frumentarii he had organized it to confiscate the church’s food stores for the Roman legion?

Disengaging from Consciousness

The Eschaton is not an event, but a process. The process is like a shallow sea. One may walk out onto the strand, dabble one’s feet in tepid water, and then walk for a hundred yards or more into the sea and be no deeper in water than one’s waist. Who knows when the drop into the deep occurs? One may even doubt that there is such a thing as the Deep, which is to say: “The shallows you see is all there is!”

In a world run by governments, there is neither God nor Devil. What you get instead is a water logged faggot drifting across the surface of the waters. The thing has two eyes. Unbeknownst to us, it is a living terror. If you approach it closely, you will discover it is a crocodile.

Of course, I am not talking of a shallow sea, but trying to create an allegory for history within the absence of meaningful time, a dubious ‘yes’ within a not so dubious ‘no’. Given the circumstances of our time, the absence of history like the absence of the deep may hide terrors, too. If the terror of our shallows is not a crocodile, it is a drone come to ream our bodies of our souls.

History as well as the absence of history is a man-made cultural environment. When human beings lived in the wood and off the land (off the gifts of nature), life went unchanged from generation to generation. Life adapted itself to the limits imposed on it by the physical world and discovered that the physical world had room for consciousness, and consciousness was not fearful to make a place for death. This is to say, life solicited the aid of consciousness, which it called, at first, the Great Spirit and, later, God. Not surprisingly, consciousness demanded of itself considerate behavior, which behavior it called moral law, and which law imposed on human beings self-discipline.

After thousands of years of life in isolation in temperate climates, consciousness and isolation evolved their own forms of culture. This was done by means of languages, which thrived. As long as there were trees to climb and hide among, languages and consciousness thrived. Unfortunately, there was to come a time came when life and consciousness were surprised by bad news.

A sudden change in temperature, from temperate to deadly cold, exposed the multiplying tribes to a sudden die off. The moral code of consciousness was overturned by those who put their individual lives above the consciousness of the collective. The malfunctioning of consciousness put into effect a life-style known as the “survival of the fittest”. It challenged the nature of human beings before their creation had fully evolved, and overthrew—at least for a time—the evolutionary Reason that had been Nature’s own.

That the mechanism of natural selection should favor a consciousness rising to ever greater violence, and favor only those who own up to ever greater cruelty, is a tragedy for God and Goddess and their Creation alike.

This is the time when there begins a braiding of consciousness, history of the fittest, and Christianity into a common strand. Christianity proposes to challenge those who put life before consciousness; the violent ones propose a return to the order of feudalism; while consciousness must learn to trust itself and not fear death. One leading challenger was John Basil of the Wood (who was later to be compromised by Jesus Christ of Catholic creation). John proposed that his life of self-sacrifice serve as an example for those who came after him.

However, because the ‘fittest’ had survived the freezing cold by institutionalizing killing (some call it war) as a social norm, in order to better combat the Christians, who continued to think of themselves as creations of the Mind of Evolution—which they equated with God—the ‘fittest’ created the 11th Commandment “Thou shalt pay taxes and establish government”. It was to be the role of government to regulate competition and, if need be, augment it with killing.

Ever since the fall of consciousness, which had God, the logic of Nature, and evolution on its side, the remains of fragmented consciousness has had to question its sanity. On the one hand it has had to question the moral premise of consciousness, on the other, it has done all it can to create a history that contradicts the Christian (not Catholic) sense of reality: that human beings are born to live to govern themselves; which form of governance they enforce by the example of self-sacrifice in a time that has no need of history.

32 Addendum 4
Who Was John the Baptist?

John the Baptist is for many centuries a mystery figure of the New Testament. No one dares tell either his true role or who he was. Mark [1:1-8] tells us about John thusly: “The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, as it is written in Isaiah the prophet:
[1-3] “I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way—a voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.”
[4-8:] “And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. John wore clothing made of camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. And this was his message: After me comes the one more powerful than I, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
A dedicated Christian may have read and/or heard the passage hundreds of times, and never given much thought what it REALLY tells or does not tell. So, let us read the text with closer attention.

Who is John? He is clearly a herder of camels and an ascetic on behalf of a community that he is herding camels for. His activity as a baptizer takes place after he has returned from the grazing fields and is back in Judea and his village known as Jerusalem. Nothing is said that Jerusalem is more than a street in a village where huts face (like in most ancient villages) inward, and a sacred gate at either end of the street keeps out lions, tigers and human marauders. As argued in blogs (see 5) above, so-called Judea or whatever its real name is in Khazaria, which today is about the countryside of Ukraine, once upon a time ancient Byzantium.

What confirms John as a ‘preaching man’ preaching  Catholic doctrine is that as far as Luke knows (Luke 3:12-14), John also baptizes tax collectors and soldiers.

However, even a brief moment of reflection will reveal that John is preaching against his interests as a herdsman and those who have engaged him to herd their herds as well. Had John had anything to do with writing the book of ‘good news’, he would likely have preached against accepting taxation and soldiering, as neither profession serves those who keep animals for the upkeep and survival of themselves and their families.

After considering the above and other things, it appears that John is no ‘forerunner’, but the REAL THING. His appearance on the stage is likely due to the threat the elites presented to the peace loving and democratic people of the wood on whom they tried to impose their will. John likely preached resistance and warned that failing to do so meant loss of an ancient and paradisiac life style. John also likely preached an early form of human rights. Indeed, once the hogwash about repentance is removed and the lord’s villa and fort is replaced with what had been for nearly forever the wood, it will be discovered that John the Baptist has much in common with Robin Hood.

I have proposed (above blogs) that the Jewish-Roman elites arose from among the herders trapped for many years in the far north (Scandinavia, Karelia, Siberia) by snow, ice, and impassable waters. By the time the herders returned to their homelands in the south, they had become hardened men, not reluctant to exploit their forebears.

John was rewarded for his troubles by being captured and murdered by the Vikings (aka Ruric princes, rovers), the new elites. The supporters of John, who had informally given him the title of John Basil or John the King of the Wood, were outraged and attacked the elites.  In order to successfully squelch the rebellion, the latter were forced to create a replacement for him. This is how Jesus, who preached repentance and forgiveness of sins, came to be.

Therefore, has not the time come to take back from the oligarchs their ill-gotten wealth and use it to plant the cities over with trees—the dna of which plantation will for some thousands of years be regenerated by radiation? Is it not time to realize that baptism by ‘the Holy Spirit’ means being sprayed with brainwash by government propaganda apparatchiks who have failed the grade and are redeployed to work the verbal spray cannons of the local fire brigade?

31 Addendum 3

After 400 Years of Sleep

For nearly four hundred years (since 1648 and the Westphalian Peace Treaty) the Western Christian world has let itself be put to sleep by secularist pretenders to ‘a better life’. Though the secularist ‘miracle’ (resurrection by liars magic) has lasted unchallenged for a thousand or 2000 years (depending on who you believe the real John or Jesus of the Eschaton movement was), it is finally coming to an end*

*There are only two ways our time can end—either the oligarch fly by UFO to the Moon or Mars, or humankind returns to the egalitarian way of life it lived when in the wood. In the latter case the city becomes the exception and the wood the norm again.

Henry Kissinger, the erstwhile shaper of recent American imperialism, has argued that the Westphalian Peace Treaty, which introduced national sovereignty and presumed noninterference in a nation’s internal affairs, now serves as model for separating the world in imperialist instead of nationalist spheres of influence. What the emperor Nero of foreign affairs does not realize is that ‘noninterference’ guaranteed only elimination of the influence of religion, which up to 1648 was presumed to have influence beyond the borders of any single power.

With the elimination of ‘religion’ from determining the nature of a community, that determining was handed over to theological capitalism, of which the West, aka Amerika, became the Rome. Of course, America immediately transgressed the theoretical limitations imposed on it by Kissinger: first Western Europe, then Eastern Europe, came under its dictates and exploitation.

The doctrine of individual rights, beginning with privatization of property for lords and princes, replaced religion, invaded every country and empire, and erased every collectively created culture it could lay its legalistic breath on. For example, so-called common-law marriages among homosexuals though never forbidden—as similar marriages are not forbidden among heterosexual individuals—were seized by the unisexed in order to diminish and try abolish what remained of heterosexually oriented religion of the pre-Westphalian Commons.

One may argue that the Herrnhuter—now Moravian—Church was the last of an Eschaton oriented Christian religious movement in the West (proto-Latvian Livonia including). Unfortunately, no sooner had the Herrnhuters created among proto-Latvians a Latvian self-consciousness (1729~1850) of political and religious significance, that the winners of the One Hundred Year religious wars, the Lutherans*, beginning with a Swedish (1708) invasion of Russia, went full bore fascist.

*While so-called Evangelical Lutherans hold themselves to be ‘reformed’ Catholics, they never reformed the ‘Holy Scriptures’, which were likely written by Catholic or proto-Catholic authorities.

The roughly two hundred years since Napoleon’s invasion of Russia (1812)—which time has coincided with two hundred years of the Industrial Age led by fascist interests—appear to have reached a stage of imminent collapse.

If someone hopes Eschaton means a rapturous beaming up to Heaven—sorry, no! It means misery and slow death, and being saved by someone who gives up his- her- life to save you or your children. If the Swedes and the French (and the Germans, and Latvians) until relatively recently still felt cocky about being able to Anschluss Russia to the West, today their wars bring a blowback in self-recruiting numbers of militant Muslim refugees. What the Christian Rip van Winkle is waking up to—unless he wishes to exchange his matured and aged body for that of another—is witness to one’s identity, which means becoming a martyr to the cause of one’s Commons.
